Oceanfront/ beachfront condo on the beautiful beach of Isle of Palms. Unbelievable views of the ocean, pool and fishing pier. You can enjoy the view from your own private balcony. You can walk to restaurants, shopping, and there is even an Ice cream shop right across the street. The Sea Cabins are about 5 miles to historic, downtown Charleston and only minutes away from Mt. Pleasant's town center where you can find more shopping and more restaurants. Lots of water activities as well. We have onsite laundry facilities and parking. There is always something to do.

Further Details: The Sea Cabins are in a very convenient location. They are close to everything.

We are about 15 miles from the airport and only 5-10 miles from Historic Downtown Charleston where you see first hand the baskets weavers and all of the Markets one of a kind vendors.

Our unit is on the 2nd floor. There is a balcony overlooking the strip and one overlooking the pool and beach... There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance.

You can get ready for your day while you enjoy your morning coffee out on the balcony, listening to the ocean and watching the sun come up...It is just beautiful!

In the evening, you can usually find some live music entertainment or just go for a peaceful walk on the beach..... Enjoy The Ocean With Us!

About The Owner: My husband and I grew up close to the beach and we just love the water...When this Sea Cabin on the Isle of Palms came on the market and we were in a position to purchase it, it was our dream come true..We just love the Isle of Palms and this Sea Cabin!! We have a 24 , 17 and 8 year old . They all love when we get to stay there.. The restaurants, ice cream shops, and shopping are all within walking distance...

The Sea Cabins are located less than 15 minutes from Historic Downtown Charleston, and Isle of Palms is one of the Finest beaches in Charleston...This is a great place for you and the kids to enjoy the summer....

You'll have one of the best views of the ocean and the pool...

UNIT NOT UPDATED, NOT VERY CLEAN

Pictured couch was very dirty. Deck furniture dirty and rusted out. The unit needs a real cleaning.
This unit should not be advertised as "updated".

Owner's Response: I clean and inspect the condo myself after each and every guest. I maintain a very clean condo. I provide a nice and comfortable place to stay on the beach. My condo will be updated again in January of 2015. So, although I completely disagree with this guest and the review, I certainly appreciate the feedback.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and found it quit comfortable. This is a great cozy place for two people or a family with small kids. Upon arrival we found the fridge stocked with some bottles of water and cans of soda. On the kitchen island was a basket filled with snacks and a few magazines about the area along with a hand written card from the owner wishing us a fun time. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for cooking. The living room couches were nice for relaxing and watching the huge tv. Extra towels and wash cloths were provided on top of the dresser in the bedroom. The queen bed which was very soft and comfy took up most of the room but left enough to move around reasonably well. The spacious bathroom had a basket in it filled with various things one might have forgotten such as disposable razors, tide packets,and shampoo. And the balcony had a nice view of the ocean.
The beach was not that full of people during our time there and we found it to be quit enjoyable.The Pool (which is not heated or didn't seem to be during our stay) is not huge but is well kept is located next to the beach.There is not a washer or dryer in the condo but there is a coin laundry mat in the building next the pool.

No need to worry about someone breaking in or stealing your stuff, this place is in a great friendly location. We even saw quit a few people leaving their condo front doors open.
There are a few stores just behind the condos mostly for people wanting a souvenir or to rent a bike or board along with a pizza place and a Ben and Jerrys ice cream stand. I will say the pizza place has good pizza but its not that great, for the cost of just one personal pizza there you could get a large from someplace like Dominos cheaper. Their menu didn't advertise the prices so when we got the bill we were very surprised at the total cost.
There is a public park with a playground right next to the condos if you have kids.
On up the road five minutes away is a Piggly wiggly and a target for groceries along with various shops and fast food places and restaurants you might want to check out. Best of all South Charleston the place we visited the most because of the artists there and it's historical old world charm was only a 15 minute drive.

All in all we had a great time and felt safe and at home in this condo. We look forward to coming back and if this condo is available we will defiantly be looking to rent it again.

This property is exactly as the pictures depict it. Like the other review mentioned, it was smaller than I thought it was going to be, but nothing in the pictures or descriptions was misleading. It was the perfect place to cool down, shower, eat & rest. IIn fact the property was SPOTLESS and cool when we arrived. It smelled fresh and clean and we were grateful that the owner was courteous enough to set the temperature low for our arrival. We were greeted by a welcome basket,stocked paper supplies,and cold water in the fridg. The linens have been updated since these pictures were taken and the view is actually more beautiful than the pictures depict. If you are traveling with small children, note that there are NO rails or ladder on the bunk bed. Our children are 6 & 4 and we just used the little ironing board for safety on the top bunk. The property is used primarily by families & newlyweds so it was quiet. The security guard was very helpful. It's a quick drive into Charleston if you want to take in some sights and there is a grocery store right up the road. We had a minor problem with one of the TVs and the owner sent someone out that day to repair it. She was quick to remedy the problem and happy to do so. With a lot of Carolina beach trips under our belt we would definitely recommend this property for a beautiful, relaxing vacation. We plan to return next year.

GOOD GETAWAY

Sea Cabin: Very small but is as advertised and perfectly acceptable for what you need it for (which is somewhere to shower and sleep). The balcony looks out to the pool and the ocean. The linens, decor, paint, and carpet seem to be new. The front bedroom does not cool off like the rest of the cabin, but otherwise the AC is great. There is a fan in the closet that I recommend for the bedroom. Two TV's and both have DVD. The couch is a pull out sleeper.

Location: This is a private complex and there is a security guard to keep people out of the parking lots and invading your privacy as this is next to a public beach. The pier, beach and pool are security coded which also helps keep people from wandering in or through the property. You are only one and two blocks from several restaurants, beach stores, a pizza place and ice cream place.

Note: If you go back across the bridge to the main land there is a Piggly Wiggly (Grocery Store) on the left, but it is hidden from the road. Just look for the sign for the Target just before the first light.

Pool: Was great

Beach: Is typical of being on the Atlantic. However, this was the most crowded beach I have ever been to in North America or Europe. During the day it was nearly elbow to elbow as far as they eye could see. Not that this stopped us from having fun with the kids, which was the purpose of this getaway. It was also the first week in June. I only mention this to make anyone looking for some degree of solitude aware that this is not a beach where the next person is 50-100ft away or farther. The next person will be about 5 ft from you or closer.

Overall, I recommend this Sea Cabin.
