The Villa with a southern exposure is located on a saltwater canal in a quite cul-de-sac in southeast Cape Coral with direct gulf access (only 2 minutes to Caloosahatchee River, no lock, no bridges). We just have refurbished and furnished the house. There is a beautiful, solar heated pool in a tropical landscaped garden, so it becomes the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. There is also a boat dock and we have a 22.5 feet Glastron Bowrider with 5.0l engine and 230 hp, which you can rent separately for 750 US $ / per week. Under Florida law you must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving license to run a boat (nothing else)

Information about boat rentals: Villa Fleur de Lis has a 22.5 feet Glastron Bowrider 5.7 l engine with 230 hp. When you book our villa, you can rent this boat (if available) for the special price of 750 US $ / week. Boat introduction fee is 100US$. Extra deposit is US $ 500 Comparable Boats will be rented for min. 1000 US $ / week. Under Florida law you need only a valid driving licence and you must be at least 21 years old to run a boat. Villa Fleur de Lis is the ideal place to dock a boat as you have to drive only two minutes to Caloosahatchee River, you don't have to travel through endless canals, locks or bridges. For inexperienced boaters we recommend a pontoon boat with 115 hp that will set you back for 750 US $ / week.

Climate: In summer the air temperature is between 30 -35 C and the water temperature 26 - 30 C. The rest of the year air temperature is 23 - 28 C and the water temperature is always above 20 C. There are between 330 - 350 sunshine days in a year. The changing of the seasons is hardly recognisable and flowers and trees keep their green leaves throughout the year. Because the water in the Gulf never falls below 20 C, there is swimming possible all year around.

Cape Coral is located directly at the Gulf of Mexico just behind the islands of Sunibel and Captiva and is just a short drive away from Ft. Myers Airport. Cape Coral is known as 'Waterfront Wonderland' and 'Venice of America' because there are over 420 miles of waterways. This family friendly town with its 340 sunshine days is the ideal location for any water sport activities and for golf. There is a very good infrastructure with shopping-malls, water park, nature reserve and so on. Nearby you have the opportunity of sandy beaches, either lively like Ft. Myers Beach or quite as on Sunibel and Captiva Island.

Golf: Cape Coral is a paradise for golfers. There are four golf courses in the city of Cape Coral and more than 50 in the closer area.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • The price is based on 2 persons, any further person is 10 US$/per day. One kid till the age of 12 is free. Max. Occupancy is 6 persons. The price includes pool service, gardener, air condition, water, bed linen, towels and English speaking introduction on arrival. Also included is electricity up to 30 US$ per week. Usage over this limit will be charged at $ 0.15 kwh and will be deducted from the deposit (500 U$). Also included is 11% tax for the state of Florida (6% VAT and 5% City tax). Final cleaning is 140 US$ and payable directly to the property management in advance at arrival. Christmas and Eastern, tax is not included
  • Terms and conditions: A down payment of 500 US$ is due with the booking confirmation and will be used at the same time as deposit. The total rental balance is payable 30 days prior to the arrival. If the day of arrival is closer than 30 days from the day of booking, the amount is due in full immediately. Cancellations and refunds: Cancellation fees of 10% of the whole amount will be charged up to 60 days before arrival, 59 - 30 days before arrival 30 % of the whole amount, 29 - 22days 60% and 21 days or less before arrival 80% of the total amount. We recommend a trip cancelation insurance.

We loved staying at the Villa. It was very clean and updated. The pictures were very nice but it actually looked better in person. Loved having the 3rd bathroom right off the pool area. Beds and furniture were very nice and compfortable! Ate most of our meals either by the pool or the covered lanai. The pool was fabulous, swam every day. Anita, the manager was very nice, helpful and funny. We love the Cape Coral area. We have haved stayed in this Villa and the area, and find it has everything we need. The Cape is much more layed back than the Ft. Myers area. Many local bar/restaurants to choose from. Everything from inexpensive to more expensive. Easy to get around. Yet it is a short drive over the bridge to Ft. Myers to find anything else you might want. We found it hard to even leave the Villa because it had everything we needed and wanted. Just having the pool there is a big plus, just very relaxing! Looking forward to coming back, not soon enough. Would recommend this property to everyone.

What a fantastic property, beautifully laid out and kitted out to ensure maixumum relaxation and enjoyment. This really made our holiday complete. We travelled with child and parents and this property ensured relaxation and comfort for all. It is really a pleasure to rent a home and be as comfortable, from the bed linen to kitchen utensils. The property standard was layout fantastic, very clean nd everything worked.

The House Book really helped. We tried a number of the recommended restaurants and they were even better than described.

Anita from the management company was incredibly helpful and informative and ensured we felt happy.

I highly recommend this property based on facilities, location and friendly professionalism of the owners and their team in Cape Coral.

I know I will be going back!
