Wonderful Views - Terrific Location - A perfect vacation

We recently spent a week in early November in this wonderful home on the beach. The three bedrooms with king beds plus a room with bunks were perfect for us, our adult children and grandchild. The views from the deck of this house were spectacular. Surfers, dolphins, pelicans, folks playing with their dogs on the beach, and most of time just the waves crashing on the beach right below, made this deck a special place. We especially enjoyed taking our granddaughter for the mile or so walk starting at our front door right up E. Cliff Ave and along the beach to 41st street. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, the outdoor grill worked well, the washer & dryer were new, and the internet and cable worked fine though we really did not need them much with the view to entertain us. All of the rental arrangements went smoothly with no surprises. The beach access (a short steep uneven stairway over the rocks from below the house next door, or 5 houses down the street) was a little more difficult than houses we've rented in the past, but not really an obstacle to reaching the beach. We would certainly recommend this house to anyone looking to vacation on the beach in Santa Cruz.
