If your group needs more space, there is a fully stocked private cottage with 2 more bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an eat-in kitchen that is located directly behind the main home. This charming mountain home is located on the practice fairway of the Linville Country Club. This golf course has been named “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” in 2006-07 by Golf Magazine, and also named “America’s Best Courses for North Carolina” by Golfweek. There is a state of the art exercise facility available to you and an outdoor heated pool directly within walking distance. If eating at a 5 star restaurant is appealing to you, you are also within walking distance of the Eseeola Lodge. If hiking is your hobby then you will be in a hiking mecca with dozens and dozens of gorgeous hikes within miles of the home, both easy and challenging. Within a few minutes drive is the beautiful Grandfather Mountain, elevation 5946 feet. Grandfather Mountain has 11 trails varying in difficulty from a gentle walk in the woods to a rigorous trek across rugged peaks. Popular hikes include Cold Springs, Lost Cove and Hawksbill to name a few. Whatever your fancy, you can find it in Linville.
