Your own private retreat with sweeping island views of the protected bay. Exclusive waterfront location with a southern exposure. Jump into the rowboat or canoe (supplied) off the dock and explore the waters of the Northwest. When you return step into the hot tub or start a fire in the living room and relax. Big deck overlooking the elegant gardens.

This rental is great for family vacations, romantic getaways, fishing or water sports on the sound, maybe even a girls/guys trip. Choose to stay close and enjoy the amazing views and wildlife of the Northwest or head out on excursions to one of the many local attractions.

The enormous Master Bedroom has a king size bed, the cozy Guest Room has a queen bed, and the Sun Room located off the Living Room can be used for additional sleeping quarters if needed.

6 Miles from Ferry Dock & Downtown Bainbridge and about the same to downtown Poulsbo. We are nestled right on the water of the protected Port Madison Bay and have lovely southern exposure.

Our family had such an amazing time at this beautiful Port Madison waterfront cottage. The owners were so responsive and easy to work with. Their home is full of nautical charm...pictures straight out of Coastal Living! Everything was perfect, the home charming and very clean, situated on an amazing spot, so close to nature. We loved it!

Christmas in Port Madison.

Our extended family celebrates Christmas every other year in Bainbridge. This past Christmas our family spent a wonderful holiday at this Port Madison cottage. It is truly a treasure and a charmer. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable, plenty of room for 5 and the view is spectacular. The location was close to the ferry, the town of Winslow, and close to our relatives who live or rented in the area. This was the first time I had used VRBO to rent and it was a positive experience. The pictures accurately reflect the cottage and surrounding area. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive to all questions. We had a wonderful holiday and I would love to go back to this cottage in the spring or summer to take advantage of all the waterfront amenities.

Amazing Location!

We rented this wonderful cottage for a week earlier this month and had a wonderful stay. There is pride of ownership with the attention to detail in the decor, amenities, etc. The location is ideal and having your own private dock was amazing. We kayaked every day, enjoyed coffee on the sunny deck overlooking the quiet bay, watched the herons and overall had an amazing stay. Close enough to town to be convenient, far enough away to feel relaxed. We traveled with several teenagers who also enjoyed the house and proximity to the water. Would highly recommend for someone wanting a waterfront getaway!

Wonderful, relaxing and beautiful vacation home!

My wife, daughter and I had an abosutely wonderful time at Trae & Lauren's beautiful vacation home. Words cannot adequately describe this peaceful getaway. We loved relaxing on the deck each evening and enjoying the beautiful garden and the stunning view of the harbor. The hot tub was the perfect conclusion to a full day of sight seeing and biking and exploring Bainbridge Island. It's obvious that much thought has been put into providing for every need for a special experience for any one who stays in this special place. Trae and Lauren went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and communicated with us to see if we needed anything at all. If you are fortunate enough to be able to book this special place then you will be extremely blessed and will not want to leave. We really hope we can come back one day! Thank you Trae & Lauren. Though we didn't get to meet you personally, we felt like we knew you and even felt like we had made new friends through your hospitality. John & Shari

P.S. Trae & Lauren recommended the Doc Marina's Grill and the food and view was incredible! Do not miss it. Also, you need to try Mora's Ice Creamery in the downtown shopping district!!!
