About this property

Frankfort Loft in the center of town!

Family friendly apartment in Downtown Frankfort, Michigan. Four blocks to beautiful Frankfort Beach on Lake Michigan, close to shops and restaurants. Private entrance, upstairs loft style room with kitchenette, bathroom and comfortably sleeps six. Back patio is shared space between house and garage. Perfect for a family or girl’s weekend! Queen size bed, four twin beds (one bunk bed, two singles), kitchenette, bathroom, lounge area w/ television. A half a block from Main Street - shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors and a toy store! Four blocks to the beautiful beach on Lake Michigan with pier and lighthouse. City park is a two-minute walk with playground, picnic tables, gardens and bike paths - all adjacent to the Betsie Bay and Marina. Private Loft, shared patio, shared hot tub. We live here, on property and I am available most of the time for questions. If it is an emergency during the night, please call. Otherwise, text messages are easier and I promise to try to get back to you promptly. You are also welcome to ask my folks if they are around; they are often to be found gardening or working in the garage. Charming small lake-side town in Northern Michigan. The streets are lined with old fashioned Victorian homes in a variety of colors and styles. "Tree City USA" is not a joke! Our trees abound and the yards are full of colorful flowers and topiaries. A short four blocks to Lake Michigan along these beautiful streets is one of the beauties of Robinson Manor. Main Street offers up shops that carry toys, clothing, glass blowing, art, books and more; along with several restaurants and even more ice cream spots! Main Street is a stone throw away from the home. Getting around Frankfort? For the most part, people walk. The entire downtown area is three blocks wide and 16 blocks long. Of course there are lots of picturesque roads leading out of town and into the more rural areas. And there is nothing quite like an afternoon drive down M22. In town, bicycles and feet are the usual modes of transportation. There is a free bus that travels around the county: The Benzie Bus. Kitchenette has mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, as well as a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. Coffee, sugar and cream is provided. Some beach chairs, sand toys and umbrellas are available-first come, first served! This space is adjacent to the main house, which is a separate AirBnB. You may be sharing the space with other guests or family.

About the host

Host profile image
Originally from Southern California, I have been in love with Frankfort since childhood. The quiet, unassuming town that offers so much beauty and adventure has captured my heart. I was fortunate that my folks retired here and that my children spent their summers in such an amazing place. Now, living here full-time, is a dream come true.

Why they chose this property

This home is right in town, but on a quiet street. The beach is a five minute walk, the shops are a two minute walk and the tree lined streets and renovated Victorian homes are breathtaking.

What makes this property unique

This property has two buildings. The main house and the carriage house (garage) which has a loft apartment above it. Right on the corner of Forest and Fourth, we watch the 4th of July Parade from our amazing front porch!
