Photos and Description of the Osterville vacation studio rental
Detached guest studio with screened porch, Seperate entry. Queen bed, 3/4 bath

Designer's property:

Separate one room guest house/studio plus 'summer living room' (screened porch) Vaulted ceilings, Separate entry. 3/4 bath

Single guest perferred. (extra cost if a couple, contact me)

Overlooking formal gardens and reflecting pool & fountain, this location (just off of Wianno Avenue) is a convenient 1/2 mile each way to a our most charming village, dining, and two beaches: Dowses or 'Baby Beach' at the end of Wianno Avenue.

Two little Pugs (Merriweather and EmmaDora) are in residence along with the owner in the main house ( separated from the guest area).

This property is ideal and preferred for the solo guest-traveler. So often there is nothing for the single person other than a motel, so I hope this will be a nice offering to you. Please note that there are no kitchen facilities, but shops & dining are only a 1/3 mile away.

Although, NO kitchen facilities, I am happy to share limited use of mine. There is a small coffee maker in the studio
About Cynthia

A native of Litchfield county (Connecticut) and NY NY, my heart has long been on the Cape since childhood visits to Osterville and Oyster Harbors. Interior design is my passion and this property-once a tear down- reflects all plus the landscaping to make a very private little haven that is a joy to share with others.

Cynthia purchased this studio in 1998

EXCEPTIONAL VACATION!!!!

I was lucky enough to have found this gem. I have stayed there a few times. I was walks from the beach - which was a stroll down a street that was out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The accomodations in the cottage were so comfortable and elegant at the same time. I must admit I loved my nights reading in the "summer" livingroom and I felt as though I was in my own sheltered garden. The fountain from the fish pond was so soothing. The Fairmont Copley Plaza nor the Four Seasons can compare.....

Best of all was the owner - she was so gracious, friendly and respectful - I felt so at home. THANK YOU Cynthia...it also is home to the 2 cutest little pugs in the world - I CAN"T WAIT TO RETURN!!!!

What an idyllic place! I stayed here because I needed a break. Wow, did this spot deliver. On a quiet lane, close to a beautiful beach, and only a few blocks from gourmet food. Waking up to the gurgle of the fountain set the tone. The screened living room was a private oasis where I could read or check my mail. The peaceful quiet made it a perfect retreat.

I can't think of a better way to recharge. Thank you, Cynthia, for ... Serenity.

I could not resist a return visit to the beautiful Wianno Guest Studio! The lure of the ocean, the Village of Osterville, and especially this lovely guest house had me running to reserve this spot for the weekend. Fortunately the owner was able to accommodate a last minute reservation. Thanks Cynthia! I'll be back! Please order up another sunny weekend.

A perfect spot on beautiful Cape Cod

This charming studio is everything that was promised...and more! The guest cottage is located down a quiet county lane, yet within walking distance of two town beaches and the lovely village which has everything you could possibly need. Check out Fancy's for "on the go" meals, wine, and delectable treats.
The studio is very comfortable with room to stretch out in various spots for reading, relaxing, or "plugging in"(WiFi available). The summer living room is simply a wonderful spot regardless of the whims of Mother Nature; an outside oasis with views of the gardens and reflecting pool.
The owner is a gracious hostess who easily balances friendly conversation with the privacy of her guest. I highly recommend this cottage to any single who is seeking a cozy, private, safe haven in the heart of beautiful Cape Cod!
