We came from Kansas, Minnesota, and Texas to enjoy a family gatheriung in beautiful Estes Park. This was our second year in 726 and again it worked perfectly for our needs. We have been vacationing in and around Estes for over 40 years, so it is a sure thing that we'll return again and again. Thanks for everything!!
Great place to stay, clean and well maintained.. Beautiful surroundings and we felt like we were in the mountains but really just up the road from the main street. Everything supplied and layout well suited our group ranging in age from 4 months old to 87 years old. .
We stayed at this lovely home again, this time in June. We love RMNP for hiking and wildlife viewing and photography. This place is easily accessible to both park entrances and for heading north, south or east out of town by road. We walked easily to downtown, the Safeway store and shops and to the Stanley Hotel.
The owners have provided nice kitchen utensils and dishes to allow easy meal preparation. Because of shading trees, the place stays cool during the day if you open the windows early morning to let cool air in and then close it up while gone. We rarely watch TV but there are TV's with cable connection to a total of 4 with DVD player also. Wireless internet is fast.
I love this place including a garage with opener.
So sorry this review is so late. We just took a trip with our two adult children this Spring to Ireland and, during the course of the trip, they reminded me of what a wonderful trip we had in Estes over the New Years' holiday weekend. They commented over and over on how "cool" the house was. And it was very "cool". It met all of our needs. Plenty of room and very clean. Had just about everything we needed. Very convenient location to the town and the park. We rented snow shoes and went into the park one day. That was the best! Toured the Stanley hotel ( ghost tour ) and bought a book there about 'hauntings' at the hotel. Read aloud one night in front of fire and everyone got spooked! So fun. Left the book at the house for others to share. We saw huge Elk by the house one night, returning from dinner. So beautiful! We loved staying there and would return in a minute! Hopefully, we will get to travel as a family again this Christmas. If so, I definitely be contacting the owner again for a reservation. Thanks so much for sharing your home.
There was a dead mouse in the downstairs and dead flies. I could have clean the place better. Also the towles could use some softener. But we had a awesome time. Also a snow shovel could have been nice.
We returned again to this great home after staying during colder months last year. The location is even more appealing if it is very busy in town since it is walking distance to downtown while being in a quiet area. This place is large enough to accommodate a number of people but the 3 levels allows separation if desired.
Love the view off of upper and lower decks. Kitchen well supplied for fixing meals in. The owners have left some videos for the kids and books and games also.
Will definitely return.
We usually go to Estes in the summer for hiking but decided to see another time of year. Having discovered snowshoeing we will likely go back more in winter.
This home is for us ideally located. It is in a very quiet area but close enough to the Safeway store and downtown to be an easy walk. View of Long's peak form kitchen and deck is particularly nice when the sun first hits it in the morning. We only had 4 staying this time but it easily sleeps twice that many (more if some are kids) without feeling crowded. 3 levels. 2 car garage with remote for the car is nice especially in the cold weather.
Since this is a more recent construction everything is in good condition. Very nicely equipped kitchen.
This is a great place for a larger family, 2-3 couples or more than one family. Very easy access to the fall creek entrance to RMNP. We will definitely be back.
