We stayed for 4 nights and loved the cabin we stayed in. The owner was very responsive to my e-mails and dropped by to make sure everything was OK. The cabin had all of the things we needed to do some home cooking during our vacation and we came away wishing we could stay longer. The beds were comfy and the cabin was spotless. We did have Verizon cell phone coverage which I was not sure about until we arrived and a nice large TV to watch the olympics.
It was so nice on the porch in the evening when it was absolutely beautiful out...we loved the hanging chair.
Overall, we loved our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend the Stanley Basecamp.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Comfortable Mountainous Home!

Two families (6 people) stayed in this cabin/home and LOVED it. Todd, the owner, is very nice and accommodating. The home was stocked with everything imaginable. It was comfortable, had cable tv and wifi. Todd's home is on the premises, which is convenient if you have a question or need something. He does not interfere. The home is on the outskirts of Stanley - which we enjoyed. The RV park just up the road has good ice cream. And don't forget the Stanley Bakery!!! So much to see and do in the area! We loved it and would return if we were in the area again! Thanks Todd (hope you enjoyed the bottle of California wine)!!!

Great Location and Very Comfortable

This cabin is a perfect escape. The location is ideal for hiking, swimming and fishing. It is clean, the linens and bedding are new, and the overall interior is exceptional. They have everything you need, just pack your hiking shoes and a fishing pole and experience Idaho at its finest. The owners are accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed a raft trip they helped arrange and they went our of their way to make us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this cabin.
