GREAT PLACE TO STAY

We had a great experience staying at this property! The place was beautiful! Everything was very clean and in excellent condition. We had several questions that came up and the management and staff was very responsive. I called once after six and the owner/manager personally called me back and left his cell phone number if there was anything I needed while the office was closed. The hot tub is shared the but we didn't have any issue with that, for the most part it was empty when we needed it and the maintenance staff came and shoveled snow every day so that we could easily access it even in cold weather. There is a shuttle right down the street that takes you to Jackson Hole Ski Resort or into town if you don't feel like walking. It is also walking distance to town if you are in comfortable shoes. If I come back to Jackson I will definately be staying here again -- Loved it!!

NICE BUT MISLEADING AND WITH PROBLEMS

This is a nice looking unit and reasonably nicely appointed. The property was clean.

But the listing is misleading. You'd be led to believe that the rooftop was private as was the hot tub. It isn't - it is shared by the entire building. It would be reasonable to expect that for the price of the unit, things would be in top order and that the building manager would be responsive. They aren't. We had a problem with the air conditioner in the master bedroom. The manager told us to open the windows - well, of course, we had tried that but there was no breeze and it was hot during the day when we were there. The response was, "well, most units in Jackson don't have AC". Fair enough, don't advertise the fact that you do. We had a problem with hot water one day. Took two attempts to get a response and the response was that they knew about some water issues but thought they were fixed. They weren't. The elevator was broken one day and the elevator alarm buzzed incessantly early one morning. The management company told us (before we rented) that there was more clearance in the underground parking than there was (so we needed to park on the street - not a big deal, but don't make stuff up that you don't know).

If all of the problems were fixed and the management company was more forthright, I'd be inclined to give this 4 stars. As it is minus one start for the problems and minus one star for how they dealt with the problems. Bottom line, normally, I'm inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt. There is a lot of doubt here.
