Nicely decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse unit with private roof-top sundeck. Great views of the pool, lagoon & gulf! There is a king bed in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds in the guest bedroom, single sleeper sofa in the alcove off the living room along with a queen sleeper sofa in living room. TV & DVD in the living room, TV in the master bedroom and a TV in the guest bedroom. Recently added brand new roof top sun deck furniture. One week minimum stay during high season. Three night minimum stays available during the low season. Arrive and depart on any day! Please note that this unit is listed for sale and may require showings during your stay. Advance notice will be given to best accommodate you during your stay.

The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

This unit was disappointing compared to another unit our family rented last year. The A/C did not work in the master bedroom (no cold air flow through the vents), there were NO beach toys at all (and we have 3 young kids), we had to request more beach towels and two beach chairs from ReMax. Overall I was quite disappointed.

To many unfixed problems

When we first arrived it felt like the heat was on in the master bedroom, Remax sent a service person right away. One filter was clogged with dust, he couldn't access the other since it was in the owners closet. Many light bulbs were burned out, two remote controls didn't have batteries. The first night we went up to the rooftop deck, everyone got splinters because the wood was in such bad shape. It seems like the unit needs a new hot water tank, we always ran out of hot water. Upon opening the glass shower door it shattered, luckily not on one of the kids. Melissa came immediately to clean glass & brought towels and curtain rod in the morning. Glen put the other door in the master bedroom, which we had to move to a safer place. The door was never picked up. It was also pointed out the legs on the couch were broken, he promised to return later with new legs, he never did. Thankfully I only had minor cuts, this could have been so much worse. It is terrible for the amount of money we spent to have these problems. I will say that Melissa was wonderful on each occasion. This was our second stay at Pointe de Santo and love vacationing here, these problems should have been handled a lot better.

We have rented in this complex for a number of years. We stayed on Sanibel since 1990 and stayed at many different complexes and we liked this one the best. This condo was disappointing. Blinds fell apart in master bedroom even after ReMax had someone come out and fix them. The foot of the bed in master bedroom was higher than head of bed. Pillows were lumpy. Pots, pans and utensils in kitchen were limited which made cooking difficult. TV did not work the first 2 days and had trouble changing stations with station changer in master bed room. Dust was thick on ceiling fans. Since we only had one key, it would have been nice to have known the code to the key box when moving in.

Trouble in Paradise

First let me say the view was perfect and so was the weather, however, it was downhill from there. The condo is very, very dated. The carpet is worn, stained and dirty as well as stains on the couch in the alcove. There was paint peeling off walls and trim off doors. One of the lanai chairs was broken and when I sat down, went flying backwards and luckily caught myself. Chair was never replaced. The floorboards on the penthouse roof deck are loose and pieces of wood are sticking up. I will have to say that Remax did a decent job of getting us the things we needed and things that needed to be replaced. We did have to go 7 days without a dishwasher when it broke. Totally unacceptable. When you spend this kind of money, you would except much, much better. I would never stay in this place again. We have been coming to Sanibel for over 15 years and love Pointe Santo, but not this condo !!!!!!

Pt Santo is the best!

We have stayed at Sand Pointe in the past. This visit we wanted to stay at a condo that has family activities. Pt Santo had daily activities at the pool for my daughter. It was nice that she was able to meet friends. The location is great, we just hopped on our bikes and rode all over the island.
Very clean unit and fully stocked with everything we needed. Lovely views from the living room and master. The roof top deck was amazing. You can tell someone cares about this condo!
We will be returning here!
