Villa Venezia is a gated beach-front compound with a courtyard. It consists of a 4-bedroom beach-front home and a rear 2-bedroom guest unit. We allow rental options of only the beach-front house or of the whole compound. We will only rent to one group at a time.
The beach-front house is a 3,800 sq. ft. split unit with two fully functional kitchens, 2 living/dining spaces downstairs, 6 full bathrooms, and 4 bedrooms upstairs, two of which are master suites. The master bedrooms have beach views, King sized beds, wood-burning fireplaces, large walk-in closets and a shared balcony that stretches across the width of the house. The expansive balcony provides phenomenal views of the Sea of Cortez and the gorgeous sandy beaches that encompass it. The other two bedrooms have two Queen beds each, walk-in closets and private bathrooms. All bedrooms and living spaces have air-conditioning & heat. Winding staircases on the balcony lead you to a margarita roof deck to enjoy yet more amazing views. Windows line both the upper and lower floors allowing the experience of the water and waves to flow into the house, not to mention the wonderful ocean breezes. You can enjoy those in the house by opening up all the windows or just by sitting out on the covered patio. We also have outdoor showers to wash off all that sand.
The rear two-bedroom guest house is 1500 sq. ft. with limited ocean views. It also has a fully functioning kitchen, living/dining space, laundry room (accessible only if entire compound is rented). The master bedroom also has a fireplace, walk-in closet, and a large private balcony with beautiful, (although more limited), ocean views. To get a full glimpse of the tranquil sea, take the winding staircase from the balcony to the Margarita roof deck, one of the best places to sit back and take in a beautiful Mexico sunset.
All living spaces have at least 1 television (video game compatible), a DVD player, satellite, and wi-fi Internet connection (password to be provided)
Located on the Sea of Cortez in the state of Sonora Mexico, and only 10 miles from the small Mexican fishing village of Puerto Penasco, the Playa Encanto beach community offers the tranquility and serenity of a private resort lifestyle with one of the most beautiful and less populated beaches in the area. Only a short drive away, are all the amenities you can imagine including day/night cruises, charter boat fishing, golfing, shopping and other water activities. There are many great restaurants to choose from or you can get your own fresh seafood and make home cooked meals. There is a large grocery store right in town plus many fresh markets.
There is a new local airport 25 mins away providing flights from the states starting in November. If you chooose to drive, we are 3-4 hrs from Phoenix/Tuscan and 4-5 hrs from San Diego.
