Excellent location and very well done decor. All the amenities and more were available in this beautiful resrtored flat. I was traveling alone and always felt very safe and loved the easy access to the old city.
Victor and his family went out of there way to make me feel at home and provided me with so much information they could open there own travel service. I manage a luxury boutique hotel and I would rate both the property and service five stars.

Perfectly located

This pleasant apartment is perfectly located for an exploration of Barcelona. It is located on the edge of the Gothic Quarter, Many of the places that any visitor would seek to visit are within easy walking distance. It is only a 10 minute walk to Metro lines. Restaurants are close by. In 8 nights, we took a cab only to one and walked to the rest. The owner, Victor, and his father, Miguel, are wonderful. We took a tour with Miguel, which lasted three hours and covered many of the important sites, to which we later returned. Miguel has an encyclopedic memory and is very charming, to boot. We were very satisfied.

Without a doubt, one of the finest apartment i have stayed during my holiday, the photos accurately descript the lovely apartment, the location was within walking distances to lots of attraction and very centralised. There is also a convenience store below the apartment. We are greatly impressed with this apartment and would highly recommend it to any travelers who visit barcelona. Very Pleased with Apartment # 227077

A highlight of our trip to Barcelona was Apartment #227077 and the great personal attention the owners provided. We were newcomers to the great city of Barcelona and had no idea that the location of this very comfortable flat was perfect for our interests—and provided plenty of space for two couples to live comfortably for a week. Within a five to ten minute walk were: Plau de la Musica Catalana (we saw amazing flamenco dancing), La Rambla and the Mercat de La Boqueria, the Barcelona Cathedral and a wonderful weekend market in the square, the Roman ruins maintained in Museu d’Historica de Barcelona, and the bus stop for the two tours of the city from which we could jump on-and-off for museums and restaurants we wanted to visit. Realtors tout “location, location, location” as the critical considerations in their business. We found that phrase true for our visit as each day it was pleasant to return to #227077 to relax a bit over wine and cheese before departing to one of the excellent restaurants the owners had recommended.

There is a double glass cabin with rain shower, whose rear side is a double-leaf wood door with its original wrought iron hinges and lock, over 100 years old, on which six coats of marine varnish were applied for total waterproofing. And it also has a 'cabinet' type washbasin with a big mirror, that wasn't there for the pictures. The room has 4 meters high ceilings with wooden beams and the architect didn't accept to have a 'toilet' inside the room (we tried to convince him, but he said that we would definitely ruin the sense of the room). There are another two bathroom one with shower, a cabinet and a toilet with a window and another one with toilet and washing hand basin.

The other bedroom keeps the original hydraulic floor, which is a true piece of art. There is an additional bathroom with its impressive shower located where once was the stone entrance of the palace.
