An Unforgettable opportunity to experience Barcelona, staying in a unique design apartment. This flat has an exquisite taste. Each room has its own character giving the flat a great atmosphere.

The flat is located in Rambla Poblenou St. (pedestrian street). This street is the core of the Poblenou neighborhood. There are many cafes and nice restaurants. It is one of the most commercial streets in Barcelona.

Just a few minutes on foot down the Rambla Poblenou you have the beach of Barcelona and the Olympic Harbour. On walking distance you can also visit some of the icons of Barcelona: The famous Sagrada Familia by Antonio Gaudi. From there you can walk up on Gaudi´s Ave. to the Sant Pablo’s Hospital another icon of the Art Noveau in Barcelona. The modern Agbar tower is 5 min on foot, this modern building designed by Jean Nouvel that holds the water company. Some nights of the week it’s illuminated with color lights.

The flat itself is 123 sqm (1345sqf). It has two double rooms each with a queen bed and a full bathroom (bathtub). There is a third bedroom with a queen bed available if needed. The main bedroom boasts a large windowed balcony with a Elizabethan style armchair, from where you will have the chance to see how life flows on Rambla Poblenou. The large living room is devoted to details and to a mixture of styles. A smart use of color on the walls creates the necessary warmth, then the designer furniture, the leather couch, a Bose sound surround system and a large plasma TV, are the punch, the ingredients that will make you fall in love with this home. The walls have been thought by an interior designer to give the flat that very stylish look. It took us more than a year to plan all the areas. Every piece of furniture is intended to be special for the room its located. The kitchen is a paradise of gadgets: refrigerator with TV, wine cooler, washing machine, dryer and all the gadgets you need to cook as a chef.

Comfortable, convenient, quiet location

Victor and his father, Miguel, took great care with the arrangements both in advance and in person. It made the whole stay easier to know they were available for anything from taxi bookings to restaurant advice. The apartment itself is impeccable, very comfortable, and with all the amenities -- great kitchen, washer/dryer, and conveniences of kitchen soap, laundry detergent, etc. The little patio was a perfect spot to sit in the late afternoon. The location is perfect if you don't want to be in the centre of the action. Close to transit, and with good restaurants and walking areas right there, but outside the busiest tourist areas. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A Pleasant Holiday in Barcelona

Nice and comfortable apartment, even if the kitchen is small. We were five people: two couples with a Young girl. Not too far from the Metro Station. Everything was working properly. For those who have a car I can tell there are eather garages or parking lots available at reasonable prices.

Best of many worlds

If you want to experience local life and combine a city vacation with a bit of beach, this is your place. The apartment is in a nice building on a very nice tree-lined pedestrian street ("rambla") full of restaurants and food shops. A short walk from the beach and metro. Sagrada Familia was within walking distance too, though a little farther away. The apartment has three bedrooms 1 king 2 queen. Two bedrooms face the rambla. The bedroom closest to the rambla had some minor noise issues on Saturday night, but nothing a deep sleeper or ear plugs couldn´t handle. If the owners have fixed the shutters (all other rooms have working shutters), even this minor issue may have been solved.The third bedroom is on the other side of the apartment and absolutely quiet. All in all the apartment is well-furnished, super clean and cosy. We (myself and my 2 friends) had a lovely stay and have recommended the apartment to friends.

Great Flat in a Great Neighborhood

When we arrived, Miguel, a very sweet gentleman and the father of the owner, greeted us. He explained everything about the apartment and the neighborhood. Although we brought shampoo and soap, they provided them along with clothes detergent. They even had some fruits and water for us to start off! All the wonderful things the other reviewers said - they are all true!!! Close to the beach, lots of restaurants, beautifully decorated yet very comfortable interior, and family oriented safe neighborhood. In the afternoon, you can hear children's voices with their parents on the street. We found this to be so pleasant and sweet. It is close to the subway station and a taxi stop is one block away. Taxis were quite cheap and always available, too. A big supermarket is 1 1/2 block away. When you buy fruit, you have to weight them and bring the sticker to the cashier. Otherwise, you would end up holding the line like we did the first time. (the mango is beyond thsi world). I would recommend this place in a heart beat with two thumbs up. Thank you Victor and Miguel! Your wonderful place and considerate kindness made our Barcelona trip so memorable. We will be back!!!

A lovely apartment on a quiet street

A really lovely modern apartment. The Rambla was a super location. We ate at the outdoor restaurants and enjoyed walking to the beach and to attractions in the city. The Metro was only a few blocks. Having a good washer and drier was convenient too. The owner is very helpful and friendly and will do whatever it takes to be sure your stay is a great one. Try the Turk's restaurant on the next block as it has fresh and tasty food at reasonable prices. We recommend this place without hesitation. C. Blackman

Beautiful, comfortable apartment in a can't-beat location

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids, ages 12, 10, 8) spent 6 terrific nights here. The apartment is spacious and has every amenity you need - 2 spacious bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, nespresso machine, balcony, air conditioning, etc. There is also a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and Bose sound system. The apartment is in a secure, elevator building and really beautifully decorated, but also livable - we didn't feel like the kids were going to break anything or mess anything up. The location really can't be beat - right on the Rambla Poblenou, a beautiful, pedstrian, tree-lined street full of shops, restaurants, groceries, cafes, etc, - and ~10-15 minute walk to 2 metro stations and the beach. We really felt like locals vs. tourists. Victor and his team are also incredibly responsive and attentive. They helped us return our rental car upon our arrival from France, made great restaurant recommendations, promptly fixed an issue with one of the lights, and a helped arrange a cab to return to the airport. All in all, it's a fantastic apartment in a great location, managed by wonderful people.

Rambla del Poblenou is one of the most enchanting commercial Boulevards of Barcelona. Its nice cozy cafes and nice restaurants where to have al fresco lunch or dinner makes this avenue a fantastic place to pass your vacation. Its very close to the Old town but you won't feel as crowded with tourists here. This nice Boulevard has lots of delicatessen shops, nice fruit stores and organic markets.

Its a pleasure to walk down la Rambla to the beach promenade. You can eat Paella relaxed at one of its nice restaurants and see the real Barcelona way of live.
