Sitting on a hill, surrounded by Ponderosa pines, this perfect hideaway features a gorgeous sunset every afternoon of the year. Completely remodeled in 2010 with hickory cabinets, granite countertops, Whirlpool appliances, Satellite TV, Internet connection, a wood pellet stove (pellets provided!), and floor to ceiling tiled bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. This 700 sq ft, 2 bedroom casita is furnished with queen size beds, a futon that opens to a full size bed, sleeping 5 comfortably and has full coverage for your cell phone. Enjoy the peaceful life while sitting on the porch, grilling, taking a hike along Rim Trail of the Mogollon, fishing, or hunting. Have fun skiing at Sunrise Ski Resort, frequenting the nearby casino, going to the movies, trying one of many excellent restaurants, or see what you’ll find boutiquing, and antiquing. Whatever you decide to do during your stay, you, without a doubt, will find a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Sitting on a hill surrounded by Ponderosa Pines, this little getaway features gorgeous sunsets and a tranquil respite from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you are looking for somewhere to get away for a ski trip in the winter, or an escape from the heat during the summer, then this is it! Three and a half hours from Phoenix and priced right! Our home is centrally located in Pinetop-Lakeside, close to all the amenities, yet far enough away for total relaxation. This two bedroom 700 square feet casita has been newly remodeled! New hickory cabinets, granite countertops, Whirlpool appliances, wood pellet stove. Bedrooms have queen sized beds, and the living room's futon opens to a full sized bed. Yes, there is internet and satellite TV. Grilling, sitting on the porch with our morning coffee, fishing at nearby lakes, skiing, boutique and antique shopping, and hiking are among the favorite things we like to see and do when we stay at our sweet place in the pines.

Our trip to the cabin was great. The cabin was cozy and welcoming.
It had everything that we needed for a week away to play in the snow.
It even snowed 8" total while we were there!

The kitchen has everything that you need to prepare full meals down to just a cup of coffee. Coffee filters are even provided.

The area the cabin is in is in the woods, but It is close enough to town to do a quick grocery store trip or to go eat out, but far enough away to get away from it all. The back roads that lead to the cabin are nice, but not kept up in the snow. If you are going during the snow season, bring a snow shovel.

The area around the cabin is nice to go for a walk and enjoy the fresh air. The cabin has a pellet stove to keep you cozy on the cold nights too.

It was really nice to have a washer and dryer also in the cabin, we came home with very little dirty clothes cause you can wash as you go. We also did not need to pack a ton of clothes for the week which is helpful, especially when you have a toddler.

I would really recommend this cabin for an enjoyable tim

Little Red Cabin

The cabin is so cute,cozy and clean. Enjoyed the view from the porch.
The owner was very pleasant to deal with. He gave us ideas of where to go in the area, and good places to eat.
We will definately go back and stay longer next time.

A very relaxing week!

My husband and I have spent at least a week in Pinetop for the past seven summers. We both love to get out of the Yuma heat and into the cool weather and trees. We like to just relax and spend the days reading, walking, or taking a drive. We enjoy Pinetop and the surrounding communities because they are small and you get that “town” rather than that “city” feeling, but no worries, they have everything you want including Starbucks!

Eric’s cabin is a great, affordable place to stay. He has everything you need to prepare your own meals and the cabin is very clean and well kept. Love the tile work. The neighborhood is quite peaceful and the sunsets are indeed beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the porch reading and relaxing. We loved the afternoon rain showers. Eric is great to work with. We will definitely be renting from him again.
