Topsail Island is wonderfully slow-paced and family-friendly. This beautiful modern luxury condo, with ocean view, community pool, four decks and master-bedroom jacuzzi, is owned by the author and photographer of 'Topsail Island: Mayberry by the Sea.' It is just one-half block from the beach and two decks have views of the ocean. Located in northern Surf City, near North Topsail Beach, the home is 2 miles from the shopping/restaurant center of the island.
The home has four bedrooms, including two master-bedroom suites. One suite includes a jacuzzi-type whirlpool tub and a pool view; the other has an ocean view. The home has two other bedrooms, each leading to a deck overlooking the pool. (Guests have access to the pool.) There are five beds – king, 2 queens, 2 twins – plus a two-person pullout sofa. (You provide towels and bed linens: your own or try either Me and Mom Cleaning or Sunsational Rentals, which deliver/pick up.) Coastal-style furniture, seascape paintings/prints and other island art decorate the home. (No smoking, please.)
A large open living area includes the kitchen and also has an outdoor deck overlooking the pool. Luxury abounds throughout this home, including such items as ceiling fans throughout, nine-foot-tall ceilings, granite counters and tile floors.
Other amenities: keyless electronic door lock; indoor and outdoor dining tables; covered parking for three vehicles; deck chairs and ocean breezes; outdoor shower; high-speed wireless internet; 72-channel cable.
