Such a nice cabin!

Such a cozy, clean and comfortable place. Very well equipped and very clean. The beds are awesome, the blankets all look new and very clean.
The house is very spacious and well furnished.

I did get to see one Elk in the back yard and the kids loved seeing all the deer every day. One even peeked right in the door. Skiing was good. It was quite cold outside but the house was toasty warm and the hot tub was very nice (especially after the kiddies went to sleep). Took a ride thru the upper canyon on the horse drawn 'sleds' which are less that 1/4 mile from the house. That was fun! It was too cold to walk into town but when we come again in the summer, we'll stay here and leave the car and walk.

But thank you, we enjoyed our stay very much. It just feels good to be there.

I'm stationed at Holloman AFB so Ruidoso is a great quick trip for the weekend. We decided to stay here because of the photos and it's relative proximity to the main part of town. Not only do the picture do a great job reflecting this place but it is close enough to the city (5 - 7 minute drive) but far enough away to get the true in the woods cabin getaway feel. We even had 5 deer come up to us at the house. The hot tub was an amazing bonus, especially this time of year. The property was well kept, clean, and had everything we needed for a weekend with 5 adults. I will definitely be staying at this property again if available.

Loved this house

We were hoping to rent the owners other property where we had stayed before but unfortunately it was already booked. So we jumped when they said they had another cabin (this one) belonging to their son they were taking care of. I knew it would be clean, comfortable and have everything we needed and it did. Great location and very comfortable and cozy (the kind of place I would buy if I could!) Next time we stay I will take which ever place they have available. Owner is super easy do work with and the price is exceptionally fair for the size and location of the home, and how well it is stocked and cleaned.

Relaxing retreat close to town

We had a great time. This property is walking distance to town, which is a plus. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Deer make the rounds at least twice a day in the front and back yards. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen has all of the amenities of home. Direct TV and the WiFi keep you in touch with the world at your convenience, We will definately return!!

Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great place!

This house is a great size for price and worked really well for our 4 adults and 4 children. The neighborhood is nice, there were deer coming by daily and the children loved it. The kitchen is stocked well, lots of towels - always good when you have children and nice to have the washer dryer. The beds are comfortable and the house is really very clean, which is important to us (my wife didn't have to re-clean when she got there like she always does at rental properties we've stayed at in Ruidoso). Owner very accommodating.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
