My husband and I are in the real estate business and we've seen a lot of beautiful places in California but paradise for us is being in what we feel is the last of the quaint seaside communities named Carpinteria in Santa Barbara County. Our families enjoy life in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley. The quality of life here in Central California is beyond all our expectations.
Coming from Chicago, Il. made us yearn for warmer climate #1 and we always loved our vacations to Santa Barbara, California because of all the natural beauty here and throughout Central California. During one of our fun adventures while cruising along the coast on a boat we saw Carpinteria and later drove into town. We loved it so much that we stayed ( 25 years so far).
