Welcome to a beautiful corner suite condo in a heritage building - previously the Hudson Bay Department Store. As a result of this conversion, we are the proud owners of this little piece of history - all 1053 sq. ft., boosting 16 ft ceilings, 12 ft windows (the windows are original to the building (which was built from 1913 to 1921)). A perfect residence to experience Victoria at it's finest - restaurants, shopping, theatre and cultural - all within a short walking distance. However, if your preference of activities takes you further out i.e. golfing, boating, sightseeing, we have two secured underground parking spots to house your vehicles.

This suite is newly furnished, with luxury and quality in mind. The great room features a full custom kitchen with Miele appliances, a sitting area perfect to catch the latest movie on Netflix, or dine in at a table for 6.

The master bedroom features a king size bed - new high end mattress (Kingsdown) with top quality, Italian linens. The master ensuite features a full bath - 2 sinks, shower and soaker tub and heated floors.

Should you have company, the 2nd bedroom features a double bed. A second bath has a shower.

Coming into the suite, on your right, you'll find a study with a desk.

Tons of closet space throughout.

About The Owner

We live up Island (approx 2 hrs away) and operate a restaurant. We moved out to the Island 11 years ago from Toronto. While we enjoy living in a smaller community, we love city living. Our home away from home scratches that itch for a city fix. We work hard, but in our limited downtime, we head down to this pied-à-terre.

Why The Owner chose Victoria

When we moved here from Toronto, every time we came to Victoria, we commented that this building would be a perfect candidate for a conversion. In September 2008 I read an article about this building being converted into condos - the next day found us in the car and several hours later, a deposit put on this suite.

What makes this condo unique

The choice of restaurants is extensive, a must - Jazzfest in June, two major downtown movie theatres within 5 min walk. Market on Yates is a favorite grocery store. The holiday lights a Butchart gardens - great way to spend New Years Eve). Also, bike the Galloping Goose bike trail and take cooking classes at The London Chef.

MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

I lived here for a month. The place is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Designer condo. The owners are very accommodating. I would stay here again when I come back to Victoria.
