The pictures does this house no justice. Walking in the house all I could say is WOW!! This is the most beautiful house I have ever seen. From the moment I was thinking about renting this property; I got a great response. Sharon was very helpful, she kept the communication lines open and was able to answer any questions I had. My children are all growing up and have started families of their own it's been hard to get together. We were a family that traveled when the children were young and we did things with them; over that last couple of years we have not done much together. At the beginning of the year the family stated that we needed to spend more time together. This trip was that start, it was wonderful start. We enjoyed watching the beautiful mountains from the big windows and watching the snow fall was so relaxing. There was enough room for everyone and we was provided with plenty of towels. The yard was great for flying kites and my grandson love watching the cows. We did a cooking challenge with the kids. They had to make an appetizer, main course and dessert; we had two teams. There was plenty of plates, cook ware and serving tools to complete the challenge. The kitchen was wonderful, big, open and came complete with everything we needed (bring your own food). The master bedroom and bath was great, the biggest bathroom I have ever been in. Also I had a concern about the warm water and called the neighbor Ms. Marian and she walked me through what to do, she was so nice and very helpful. The people in the area was all nice. Went to the local grocery store, that closed at 11pm and they allowed us to spend as much time as we needed when we arrived at 10:50pm to get groceries. They did not rush us and was very friendly when we went to check out. Wonderful people; we were shopping til almost 12pm. I am recommending this property to everyone I know, if your thinking about it do it, you will not regret it. This is so much better than getting a hotel, we were able to be together and do what we wanted and no one had to leave to go to another room. The price is unbelievable and we saved so much more than if we had went to a hotel to stay. I will be returning and is hoping this is a new family tradition. The house is well kept and is in a private location. The Downing Family enjoyed our stay, again thank you! Keep offering this to families, you have been truly a blessing to my family.
