We spent a "10 girls & 1 handsome boy" 5-day vacation at your cabin on BEAUTIFUL Placid Lake. Our group ranged from 2 years old, to 75 years young; there was something for everyone, and each day was filled with frog hunting, canoeing, hiking and wildlife viewing. The beauty of the lake in the early morning is beyond words. The cabin accommodations were just as you described and included everything we could have wanted. The "oldsters" traveled the short distance to beautiful Bigfork to see a play at the Bigfork Theatre, while the "youngsters" spent one day at the near-by Columbia Falls Water Slide Park. The remaining days were spent exploring the area during the day and enjoying a campfire at night. We so thoroughly enjoyed our experience and the complimentary wine and jam was such a pleasant surprise. There seemed to be no detail untouched, from the pre-cut firewood, to the oh-so-comfortable beds! Our experience was so meaningful, as it is so difficult to get as many of us together in one place at one time. In planning this trip prior to deciding where to go, I researched various choices and kept coming back to this place...and I'm so glad! Would love to do it again!!
