Enjoy the western way of life in a cozy guest cottage on a five acre horse ranch in Santa Ynez. This new little cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one bathroom with tub and shower. The living room has a wood burning stove and cable TV. There is a full kitchen and wife throughout. Easy access to the washer and dryer. Quiet, clean and private, it's only one mile from the town of Santa Ynez, with its cute cafe's and shops. Solvang and Los Olivos are both a 5 minute drive.
Santa Ynez Valley sits just inland on the Central Coast halfway between Santa Barbara, to the South, and Santa Maria, to the North. The valley is a hidden gem with wine tasting, road biking, mountain biking, horse-back riding, hiking, and golfing. There is a small airport one mile away, which offers glider rides and is friendly toward general aviation.
The cottage is available by the month. There is an additional bunk house with beds for four available on request. Horse boarding available by request as well.
The owner lives on the property full time.
Avid horsewoman, active in gathering cattle, ropes at the brandings on many of the ranches in the SantaYnez valley. Inducted into the Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Fort Worth Texas in 2008.
