Lovely week in a lovely home...

My family and I enjoyed our week in this lovely home. We found that the posted pictures really didn't do the place justice; it looked much nicer in person. There were 8 of us in total, ranging in age from 9 months to 76 years. Everyone was accommodated comfortably, including the couple that slept on the pull-out sofa (the most comfortable mattress of its kind I've ever laid on). The house was clean and well maintained and the kitchen was fully equipped with any dish, pan or utensil you could need. Sheets for all beds and towels were available for use in the various linen closets. The wifi and cable TV kept us connected to the world as frequently as chose to be. The only nice-to-haves not available were a beach chairs/ umbrella and a utensil set for the gas grill, but these were not big issues for us. The views from the deck overlooking the tidal salt marsh were great, not only at sunset but all day along as well, particularly if you are in into birding as some of our party were. The location of the house was also convenient to the beaches (7 min walk to closest and less than 5 min drive to others) and to quaint Chatham village and Lighthouse Beach (~10 min drive). I would recommend this house to others and expect to return in the future.
