Photos and Description of the Heidelberg vacation apartment rental

The apartment is on the ground floor, accessible from the inner yard of an old mansion. Therefore it is very quiet and you can sit outside having a barbecue. We offer a bedroom with a single (100 x 200 cm) and a double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a living room with a couch that can be transformed into a bed (140 x 200 cm). The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes etc. for up to 12 persons. Dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave. A dryer can be used at no charge. You will also dispose over an unlimited wireless high speed internet access as well as cable TV and hifi-system stereo. The bathroom is equipped with a shower. All the rooms are accessible by wheelchair, in the toilet/shower you will find the corresponding handles. There is central heating that you can regulate yourself. Please consider that the height of the ceiling is at 2 m 10 and the basin in the WC is very small.

The apartment belongs to an old mansion built in 1899. This mansion is situated in an old street with houses from that time. In 50 metres you can reach the tram station and the bus station, called Brückenstraße. About 300 metres from the apartment you will find the Neckar, where you can walk and sit on the grass to enjoy yourself. Heidelberg is wonderful at any time of the year: in winter with the wonderful Christmas market and Christmas decoration, in spring with the blossoming trees and flowers everywhere. In summer you can sit outside in the beer gardens to enjoy German hospitality, and in autumn you will enjoy the new wine and fine food in the cosy restaurants.

Notes: As we use this apartment as our second home you can imagine that the equipment is more luxurious than what you will usually find in apartments to rent. There are also lots of books and games for children (only in German). In the kitchen you will also find a very comfortable coffee machine (Melitta my cup) to provide you with fresh coffee (steamed, not brewed). Coffee, tea, sugar, spices, vinegar, oil and a choice of food that can be quickly prepared are at your disposal. We welcome you and hope that you will feel almost like at home. There is also a phone on request at your disposal - so you can keep in touch with family and friends without spending too much money on the cell phones. A baby bed as well as two different high chairs for kids (depending on their age) are available at no extra charge.
