HHI 2023

Stayed this week with my husband and 3 month old. Property definitely could have been cleaner- stains and burn on couch, hair in drawers, dirty bathroom floor/ underneath bathroom sink, dust/ dirt on cabinets. I messaged about this issue before our trip because of another review of the property not being clean and my message was never responded to. I also messaged about the wagon to make sure it was still there, and they replied proptly to that message. We were not notified prior to our stay that one of the handles on the bathroom sink did not function, so it only provided hot water in sink. There was a note on the kitchen table letting us know about this upon our arrival. There is a TV in the bedroom, but it had a glitch that we were also not told about before the stay. Condo is only a short walk to the beach, elevator access was very nice and the king bed is very comfortable. Pool area with bar/ restaurant is very nice too. Added bonus was the wagon on the deck for us to use when we were on the beach. Also very close to good food and a 20 minute drive from Harbor Town. This could be a fantastic little spot after a good cleaning and some minor fixes throughout. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back if these issues are actually addressed.

A little disappointed 😞

When we arrived the front door was OPEN (safety issue). The place was NOT clean. The curtains to the balcony had food stains behind the curtains, there was snack crackers (goldfish) behind the sofa cushions, there was visible DUST balls all over the bedroom walls and when we turned on the ceiling fan dust balls flew from it too. There was a DIRTY white accent pillow left on our bed. When we talked to property manager, Megan she assured us that she was there with the cleaners and they had done a "great job". Too many issues. Great location, convenient but not that clean!!!!!

Not clean

Communication with home owner was good , check in was ok, but this condo is filthy. From the nasty bed with liqueur bottles stuck under mattress & left , to hair inside the refrigerator, not to mention the refrigerator didn’t work the first 2 days of the 5 day trip .( Mysteriously started working on day 3) Refrigerator had a terrible odor. Bathroom was so dirty had to clean myself before we could use . This property was absolutely filthy nasty.

Family Vacation

We were so excited to get back to the beach. We are from Colorado and it has been 4 years. We booked this trip kind of last minute. We didn't realize we would have a view of the ocean so that was awesome. The pullout couch was great for one of my kiddos. It was super comfy. I really enjoyed eating breakfast outside every morning. We needed some extra supplies, and they were brought to us. The pool is huge, and relaxing. It is a short walk to the beach. We appreciated the beach chairs that we could take down to the beach. The bunks for the kiddos were cute. My 19 year old son fit in one, I told him to pretend he was back on a submarine. The grocery store is close. We met a wonderful family that has been vacationing here for 16 years, and we believe we have made some lifelong friends. We all want to return.

Great stay!!

Very nice stay at HHI beach and tennis resort. My family and I always enjoy this resort and this trip did not disappoint. We love the location and beach access. We were pleasantly surprised by the ocean view from this condo. It’s a tight space for a family with teenagers but served it’s purpose for a quick getaway. My only complaint was that the floors and bathroom could have been cleaner. Looked like the cleaning service just did a quick job as there was still sand and hair on the floor and I had to clean the shower other than that the condo itself was great.
