This property is a turn of the century brick revival completely renovated inside and out! It is located in the heart of the finger lakes; 5 miles from Skaneateles, 25 miles from Syracuse, and 45 miles from Rochester.
This spacious home is great for weekend retreats, small weddings, bridal parties, family reunions, hunting and fishing outings, winery weekends, corporate getaways, and bike tours.
The home includes a newly renovated gourmet kitchen and dining room with beautiful views of the lake. There is a large great room that separates each wing of the house and holds an antique billiards table great for entertainment. Two of the bedrooms are on the West side of the house with a king size bed and each offer a large, full bathroom off each room. The other 2 bedrooms are located in the East wing of the house and share an additional 3rd large bathroom. The back of the house includes an expansive deck overlooking the view and there is a covered gazebo for outdoor dining.
This is one of the most beautiful spots on the lake, nestled in a cove, often calm, and great for swimming. Additionally, there is a boundless back yard, and a bonfire pit down by the water. There are so many features of this home that will make for a perfect getaway with a loved one, family or friends!
My extended family and I had a great week here. The house and property are very spacious and offer lots of places to relax, read, sleep, and hangout. We got rained out one day and still didn't feel cooped up as there is plenty of room in the house. The large deck out back is great for large family meals outside. The backyard is huge and perfect for any and all lawn games.
The property was in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and the lake was in the back yard with a beautiful lawn that you walked down to the waters edge. The 5 grandkids had a blast in the water and the hammock was a big hit with them also. Our children with their spouses had a great time with the kayak's exploring the shoreline. Great deck to sit out to eat meals, read or just relax. The kitchen had many features that accommodated 3 women who put together great meals. There are so many features to talk about such as pool table, library, bedrooms, bathrooms with each bedroom. Great place, looking forward to going back
3 families met at this spacious house for a week of fun! We liked the fact that the lake and neighborhood were very quiet for the most part; we had a bonfire every night, sat on the huge deck as much as possible. It was also close to boat rentals, shopping, wineries, etc., without being on one of the bigger, busier Finger Lakes. All in all, an enjoyable time. The upstairs bedrooms had window AC units, lake breezes kept the rest of the house comfortable. Highly recommend this place!
This was a great house in a wonderful location -- close to golf, restaurants and wineries. Each room had a different, individual feel and décor. We truly enjoyed staying at this beautiful home and would recommend this property to any family looking to getaway. Can't beat the view of the lake...
Our family stayed at this charming and spacious lake view property for a weekend for our son's graduation nearby. We had a wonderful time and could have not asked for more. The house was clean, warm, cozy, tastefully decorated, with all the expected amenities. The house was just perfect for us. We all slept peacefully and comfortably. The only regret: not staying longer to explore the Finger Lakes area. We will definitely make plan to return in the future. Will recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a nice and peaceful gateway.
This is the second year my family has met and stayed at this house. This year my niece from Texas, and daughter/husband from California also came. My mother is in a local nursing home, and my sister and her son's family live close.
Everybody had a great time, and nobody wanted the weekend to end. The enormous family room with, I'm guessing, a 20 foot peaked ceiling, fireplace, and pool table provided a great place for the whole family to have fun. Given that the weather was cold and rainy, the house was interesting and big enough to keep everyone entertained indoors.
The large kitchen had room enough for a half dozen cooks, and the dining room accommodated everyone. There was no problem getting my mother's wheel chair around, and into the bathroom.
We converted, temporarily, the den, into a 5th bedroom for my niece, complete with privacy.
We had a nice fire by the lake one night. Maybe next year we'll try doing some fishing.
Local restaurants, including the surrounding area, are great and offer a variety of cuisines.
Can't say enough about the place, and the response from the people we dealt with.
Stay, and enjoy!
