I stayed here with 2 other couples for the weekend. We loved the look and feel of the place, very large, open, roomy and lots of windows. The pictures are accurate. The view is incredible, hot tub was wonderful, steam shower a plus, and the fire place was awesome. The house was also very well stocked, including some cooking spices and cooking oils. All three couples were impressed with the house, and very satisfied. My only comment is that if you travel with a total of 3 couples, note there is a large master, a second bedroom with a double bed (or queen), but not really a third bedroom suitable for a couple. The third "bedroom" is really an office with a pull out sofa. The other option is an open loft with a trundle bed (not ideal for a couple). We were surprised by this, as I thought there were three full closed in bedrooms with three beds. Otherwise, we all highly recommend this place.
Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. Barbara was great, very helpful and informative. The house was immaculate and a perfect location for peace and quiet. I will definitely recommend this place to another person or stay here again ! Thanks.
Like the person who posted before me, the pictures here on Homeaway do not give it justice. It is absolutely gorgeous, all around. The view from the back deck is unmatched, and the modern amenities provided made it the most complete and perfect home away from home! Thank you Barbara for your constant communication, and helping me figure out the sound system! We cannot wait to come back for the ski season!
I've stayed in probably a dozen different houses in the Catskills area, and this is one by far offered by far the most complete experience—great kitchen, great deck, outstanding view, clean interiors, privacy. The house itself is modern and comfortable. The view from the back desk is unmatched. One of the rare instances where a house is better in real life than in pictures. Highly recommend.
If you're looking to have an adventure in the Catskills i would strongly recommend this property. Perfect for 2, and would be just as ideal for a larger group. The view from the back deck is alone worth the stay. The house is secluded, well maintained, and offers relaxation or adventure in only a short drive. The house seemed perfectly located so you could either head to the east or west side of the Catskills park within a short drive. Barbara, the property manager, was very friendly and informative. We didn't need to call her for anything, cause it was all provided, but had we needed her assistance she was at an arms reach. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home with us we can't wait to come back.
