Having rented VRBO properties across the US, this property is at the top of our Gotta Go Back List. Perfect balance of a sence of seclusion and easy access to all the wonderment of Southwest Colorado. The house is extremly comfortable and features all the necessities to make a memorable get a way.
Interior finishes, furniture and kitchen appliances are all up to date and relaxation comes easy in this cozy environment.
This properties location is the perfect stay as a base for daytrips to Durango, Mesa Verde, Telluride, Silverton, Ouray and beyond. We enjoyed trekking on the 4WD jeep trails scattered throughout the area, and with our Kayak we brought, fishing Groundhog, Electra and Vallicito Reservoirs. We even caught a bunch of fish to bring home to enjoy.
If you are spoiled to the comforts of your own home, you will find this property an easy place to get the sence of "roughing it" in the woods with all the amenities and necessities to take the 'rough" out of "it"
We feel fortunate that the owner of this property has shared this little slice of heaven with us.
