Welcome to Casa Madrugada! This is a spacious newly remodeled 2011 open condo. This is the 1922 sq ft model with a guest Casita.

We decorated with a Spanish/Mexican theme, remodeled the kitchen area to provide an open feeling, installed new cabinets in the kitchen with granite counter tops. The living area has a brand new 47 inch HD LED TV

with a blue ray player. Our large plush sectional couch is most inviting for that afternoon siesta or the perfect seat for your favorite NFL game. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom, the master bedroom has a King bed the casita has a Queen and the 3rd bedroom is furnished with 1 twin and 1 full size bed. The front courtyard is open with a gas BBQ and table and chairs for outdoor entertaining. The rear patio is enclosed for privacy and faces the beautiful santa rosa mountains. The patio opens up to an expansive grass area perfect for a little over-the-line or practicing your short game. We are 50 yards away from the pool, spa and tennis court and a five minute walk to the famous La Quinta Resort and Oasis Spa. If your looking for a beautiful remodeled comfortable condo steps away from all amenities then this is the perfect choice!

Our family has been vacationing in Santa Rosa Cove for 20 years it is hard to beat the golf and amenities. Strolling along the paths to the Hotel and restaurants is always a wonderful experience.

Conference getaway

A group of my co-workers came in for a conference at La Quinta and this was a perfect location to walk to the resort, but relax during our downtime. The condo is nicely updated and wonderfully decorated. The owner was great to work with a helpful when we needed him. I would highly recommend this condo for a relaxing getaway or a work trip. We enjoyed our stay and the convenience to the resort.

Great Place, Great Location

My family wanted a nice house walking distance to the La Quinta resort for a Thanksgiving getaway, and this condo provided exactly that. The condo & casita were in great shape--recently re-decorated with new furniture and upgrades, the courtyard and back patio were a nice place to relax outdoors, and the pool and tennis court were conveniently located. Great proximity to the La Quinta Resort restaurants and also Old Town La Quinta. Next time I'm planning a getaway in La Quinta I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Great place, would stay there again. Better than what I was expecting. I was working a conference at the resort with 2 other guys, we all had our own room and bath, very private. Its about a 10 min walk to the meeting space at the resort. The private courtyard with a cold beer was the evening favorite after a long day. Owners are very easy to deal with.

Wonderful Awesome Stay in Santa Rosa Cove

My wife and I spent 6 wonderful days at Santa Rosa Cove during the BNP Paribas Open. The owner was absolutely great to work with. A few days before we were to arrive, he sent us email with directions to his house and how to get in through the main gate (etcetera). We didn't encounter a single problem.
The condo is just a few minutes walk over to the main LQ Resort. After morning tennis clinics, we ate breakfast every day at the resort (at Restaurant 26). It's a nice 5-10 walk between the condo and the main tennis office.
The unit is stocked with various necessities (trash bags, laundry soap, towels for the pool), well-furnished kitchen (nice knives), great electronics (we played Pandora on our iPhone over their BOSE system), updated decor, and so on.
We were genuinely sad to leave. The night before we left, we had Happy Hour with a bunch of friends from San Jose (from our tennis club). The condo was very spacious, easily adaptable to 20+ guests.
At various times during the week, my brother-in-law and friend showed up, along with other visitors who stayed a night or 2, and I never felt overcrowded. The night we threw our Happy Hour, the staff at the front gate were easy to work with in letting guests in.
There was absolutely no "bait-and-switch" with the property--everything promised was there, and more!
In the area, we recommend eating at Armando's in Palm Desert and Restaurant 26 in LQ. Oh yes, we ate absolutely wonderful steak at LG's. We also recommend The Cliff House in LQ for Happy Hour (if you can get in).
Finally, if you're a tennis player, the tennis staff is second to none. We arranged for my brother-in-law to hit with Tom Gorman for an hour. It was the highlight of his trip. My wife and I went to daily clinics with the other staff -- Jim, Ian, Leif, Malcolm, and Tall Jim. If you go to the Tennis Shop, say hello to Cindy. She's the one who actually runs the place!
We definitely recommend this property. In fact, we look forward to staying there next year!

Great location and better than described in the ad

The location is easiliy within walking distance(less than 5 min) to the LaQuinta main resort, with shopping, dining, etc. There is a pool across the yard from the back patio, and the LaQuinta resort pool is also a short walk. Also, an easy walk(2 min) is the Dunes, golf course. We could not have picked a better location. The unit was everything promised and in great condition. TV was easy to use, which can be difficult in some rentals with numerous controls. The kitchen was recently updated and the unit was well cared for. Ample space for relaxing or entertaining.
While we weren't at the unit for extended period of time the outside patio is a great place to hang out. we didn't use the grill, but there is one on the patio. Everything we needed was provided, and you would be able to cook and serve full meals with all the stock in the kitchen.
The owner was very respoinsive and answered questions. They even prepped the unit prior to our arrival and had towels laid out, had fruit on the counter, and some waters for which we were very thankful. Our deposit was returned promptly and the whole rental experience was very positive.
I would definitely recommend this unit for rental. There were many units under consideration and I am glad to have chosen this one, as it exceeded all expectations.
