This exquisite one-bedroom is one of the most beautiful and special apartments in the picturesque 'Old Town / Stare Mesto' center of Prague. Completely renovated four years ago, our 95 sq-meter (1,022 sq-ft) apartment was rebuilt with exclusive designer elegance in mind, mixing high-end, modern amenities with classic features to create a bright, luxurious living space.
Overlooking a tranquil cobblestone square in the Josevof quarter of Old Town, you will find yourself walking distance from all major historic and cultural attractions. Old Town Square and Prague's famous Astronomical Clock are only 3 blocks away. Walk through the winding streets of charming Old Town to reach the Charles Bridge, Wenceslas Square, Municipal House and the Power Gate, all within 10 minutes walk. Prague's historical Synagogues, and elegant Parizska shopping street, are within 5 minutes. Restaurants and cafes abound, as well as bakeries, specialty food stores, and large markets if you choose to cook at home. There is no 'short-term-stay' feeling to our place, and we are proud to share it with discerning guests - this is truly a magical apartment!
State of the art kitchen is fully equipped for preparation of gourmet meals, featuring high-end european appliances - Siemens convection oven, cooktop, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and built-in stainless steel microwave oven. Caesarstone countertops highlight beautiful Italian cabinetry by Scavolini.
Master bedroom overlooks a quiet courtyard and features a large open dressing area surrounded by built-in closets and drawers. Heavy curtains provide a dark bedroom for sleeping.
Luxurious master bathroom has double sinks, large jacuzzi tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, heated granite floors and heated towel bars.
All furniture was custom-built in Italy. New parquet floors. High ceilings, built-in and recessed lighting throughout on dimmers. Internal filtration system purifies and softens all water for drinking and bathing. Bosch washing machine and dryer in separate laundry room. Working elevator to apartment on fourth floor. The apartment is safe and quiet -- the church that faces the living room does not chime its bells. Softly and beautifully lit at night, this church gives our square a picturesque and peaceful ambiance.

We email our guests a list of our personal favorite sights, walks and restaurants, both on the beaten path, and off. Our local property manager is a UK native who has lived in Prague for 20 years, and additionally offers dependable airport/ train station transfers, and is your personal connection in this magical city.
After our very successful first season of rentals in 2011, our beautiful apartment has been back on the vacation rental market as of August 2012 after a 8-month hiatus, during which our building underwent a complete and meticulous historic renovation. The building itself is now as splendid as the interior of our apartment, freshly brought back to it's original colors and condition, with a beautifully restored foyer, new elevator and restored facade. We had a great first rental season in 2011, and now look forward to even more thrilled responses from our guests!
When we saw this apartment, we fell in love! It is an exquisite gem, on what we think is the most tranquil and beautiful square in all of Prague. It is a dream destination, nestled in the heart of a charming, magical city whose historical architecture has remained intact. We never tire of wandering Prague's winding cobblestone streets, and exploring the countless museums, restaurants and cafes. Prague is a great city for music, both contemporary and classical. We walk to amazing concerts, stopping for ice cream, wine or cappucino on the way home. We are sure your stay will be as special and memorable as ours have always been.
After a 7 hour train trip with lovely scenery, we arrived in Prague and were so happy to walk into your beautiful flat...it felt warm and welcoming.
Jeff took us on a stroll of the area and then Tim and I had a great dinner nearby. We are so happy with our 'home' for the week...
What a treat to wake up in your beautiful flat...we slept incredibly well and have loved our first day here.
This is a fabulous week to be here...the Old Town Square has food stalls set up and children performing in dance recitals in native attire, the St Michael Monastery has concerts each night. We are going a "Best of Classic and Opera" program tonight. Absolutely lovely... wanted to let you know how happy we are to be here.

This is the apt everyone is looking for in Prague. Luxurious immaculate and tasteful..simply put an A+. As importantly, the apt is in a special important bldg in the very best and convenient section of Prague's Old Town.
My husband and I recently rented Christmas week 2014 at Maia's apartment in Prague. The apartment is beautiful and exactly as the pictures appear. It has a traditional contemporary design, is very spacious and in impeccable condition. It is 5 minutes walking distance to Old Town main square, all main restaurants and shopping in the Old Town area. Maia was a pleasure to work with through out the process and accessible via email and phone. She provided us with all information needed before we departed (to Prague) to ensure we would have a smooth arrival. She informed us David would greet us at the apartment (for check-in), be a primary contact in Prague during our stay and could provide private car pick-up at the airport (which we utilized). David was a pleasure to work with as well. After arrival and check-in (with David), Maia checked in with us via email to ensure we arrived safely and the apartment was to our satisfaction (which it was indeed). The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It included linens, towels for the bathroom, toiletries and detergent (for the clothes washer). A handy guide book with instructions for the apartment appliances, electronics, wi-fi, etc. was also provided. Maia even provided a 4 day itinerary with her favorite places to dine and visit while in Prague. We utilized everything the apartment had to offer. We travel often to Europe and have stayed in many lovely apartments and by far this one is one of the best apartments we have rented. The apartment is large so you have plenty of room and will not feel like you are crammed into a small hotel room. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Prague and felt at home in her apartment. Based on this experience, if/when we return to Prague, you can guarantee we will rent from Maia again. In addition, we have already provided Maia's apartment information to a friend of ours who is planning a trip to Prague in the spring. We know they will have a fantastic time just as we did. We enjoyed our 12 nights in Maia’s apartment. It’s in a great location, close to everything but out of the tatty tourist areas of the Old Town. It's a quiet spot, with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space, and a modern and spacious kitchen and bathroom. Maia was easy to contact and kindly let us have a late checkout for an evening flight out of Prague.
For self -catering, we’d recommend the food section in Marks and Spencers in the Palladium Mall Namesti Republicky.
The medieval art collection at the former Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia, just around the corner, shouldn’t be missed.
We also made good use of David, Maia’s apartment manager, for transfers, and would highly recommend him. All in all a most enjoyable stay.
This is an excellently well outfitted apartment with beautiful furnishings, spacious, great wifi & all modern conveniences eg dishwasher, washing machine & clothes dryer.
It is centrally located in the Jewish quarter & is surrounded by wonderful coffee shops & restaurants. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the old town square & less than 5 minutes walk to the tram station. Parking off site was organized & was secure & accessible. The apartment manager was very hospitable & helpful with meeting us on arrival & departure.
I would recommend this apartment to any 2 adults as a great place to spend sometime when in a Prague.
Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful apartment in Prague! We loved the city and it was made all the better with the fabulous accommodations we had at your place. We visited many of the sites and restaurants you listed. What a great help for us first-time visitors. The location of this apartment is the best! You can walk to pretty much everything, the street is quiet, the bedroom is in the back of the apartment, it was easy to keep the room dark and sleep was never interrupted by noise. We because regulars for a late evening drink at Chez Marcel across the street. Everything you need is easily accessible (restaurants, tourist sites, convenience stores, transportation, etc), the apartment is well-maintained, comfortable and I will stay there again on my next visit to Prague (which, btw, Prague is a friendly, clean, historic, and overall fun place. Go!).
