This custom built cabin is true to its name, “Enchanted View,” from the moment you step into this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home you will be “enchanted.” The long range mountain views are sure to take your breath away from the spacious decking. Inside, you will find a great room that is open to the kitchen and dining areas. Beautful mountain views are endless even from inside this cabin. The great room offers cozy seating for the entire family, gas logs to warm by as you watch the snow fall on a cold winter’s day, and a large flat screen TV with Satellite and DVD. The well equipped kitchen with stone accents and stainless steel appliances will be a cook’s dream come true. The dining area offers a beautiful dining table that offers seating for the whole family. And while eating you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from the numerous windows. Also, on the main level is the master suite with King bed and French doors that leads out to the deck. Upstairs, are two bedrooms with a catwalk between the two that offers magnificent views from inside. One of the upstairs bedrooms offers a full size bed, while the other one offers a set of bunks with twin and full size beds. I spend many weekends in the mountains of North Carolina. While my travels take me numerous places, I will only stay here when in the mountains near Boone. The home is comfortably appointed and has everything a cook needs to feed an army. The beds are large and comfortable. And there is plenty of space should you require privacy. The home is in a quiet location and very close to Boone and other locations. Love it here!

This is an awesome place to sit back and relax especially with good friends! At night, behind the right bottle of wine from Thistle Meadow Winery, you'll feel like you are sitting in the Rockies while you count the shooting stars. The house is beautifully decorated with all the creature comforts needed. The views are outstanding and it is just a short drive into West Jefferson for a tour of the cheese factory or the great food at Frasers Restaurant. If you get to Blowing Rock (south on the Blue Ridge Parkway) and like to hike, the Glen Burney trailhead is about a block from downtown and has 3 really spectacular waterfalls. Thanks Dave for sharing your truly remarkable home! We'll be back soon.
