My husband, 3 y/o daughter, & I just returned from a wonderful 4-day stay in the garden cottage. This place is highly recommended - it was clean, quiet, and very convenient for visiting downtown San Luis Obispo. Owners and hosts Pam & Jeff live in the front house with their 2 very petite and friendly dogs. They are all very welcoming and friendly, but unobstrusive. The cottage is set back from the main house and surrounded by lovely gardens and outdoor furniture for lounging. The photos definitely do not do this place justice. The main room has a pull-out futon (where my daughter slept), along with a small kitchen and dining table. The bathroom is large with a hand-held shower-head which helped with the kid "bath" (no bathtub). We will definitely be back and recommend to others.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

What a gem in SLO!

My mom, sis and I stayed in this lovely cottage last week end. It was heaven. Big, very comfortable bed. Nice linens and towels. My sis slept on the futon in the living room and it was very nice as well. This place had everything we needed. The bathroom was large and new, the little kitchen stocked with plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, etc. the inside was decorated so sweetly. We sat outside on the patio and had wine and cheese. The gardens were beautiful! I wanted to stay for a week.......we will be back!

This Cottage is a Gem

The location is ideal, with proximity to everything, but the cottage is nestled in the wonderful gardens so we got quiet and privacy beyond our expectations. The place is light, bright and spotlessly clean. We were amazed to not just have a large, comfortable bed, but to have a large comfortable bathroom, and a really cute fully equipped kitchen. Everything you need is there, and Pam and Jeff couldn't be nicer. We'll be back many times.

SWEET little cottage!!!

my husband and I were visiting family in SLO and needed a place to stay that was reasonable and accessible. We found this on vrbo site and thought it was cute.
It did not dissappoint!!! We loved the quiet little garden setting and were not at all bothered by anyone or anything.
Perfect little efficiency for the 2 of us!
We loved how clean and quiet the house is and that it was very near our family, shops, grocery, and restaurants (walking or driving). Lots to do in and around SLO, so no shortage of entertainment etc.
We will likely visit SLO again and will look this property up for future availability!
