5 STAR CONDO–AMENITIES–VIEWS–INTERNET–GREAT BEDS–WASHER/DRYER

We had a lovely visit to this seaside condo. All the positive reviews made us choose this in the first place. They were all true, the place was so clean and very thoughtfully laid out with absolutely everything you could wish for in a holiday rental. The apartment itself has views over Galveston town looking toward the port, very interesting sitting on the balcony 13 floors up drinking a glass of wine and watching the world go by! The complex itself was also very well appointed and had the friendliest staff. Even though the outside temperature was really warm the pool was too cold to venture in to, but at a different time of year would be fabulous to lay in and look out over the gulf of Mexico. Lots of really comfortable seating and loungers by the pool so I was still able to sunbathe and read a book. We hired out the cinema room one evening and watched a family movie, that was fun. There is also a games room which we enjoyed, we had family competitions playing pool and table football.
We enjoyed Galveston and we tried to do as much as we could whilst still relaxing! We visited moody gardens as they had just put up their festival of lights, it was very pretty and felt very festive. We did the treasure island tour (pink train) which was very informative and a great way to see and learn all about Galvestons past. We played on the beach and my boys loved the sand dunes across and along a bit from the condo. We went for dinner (Greek food) at the harbour side and watched one of the big cruise ships leaving port, dolphins were leaping about beside the ship! We also toured the Ocean Star, (oil rig) that was really interesting too!
All in all a great family vacation and would recommend you stay there. Only negative was the Internet connection was not as high speed as we're used to and with a teenage boy and husband wanting to watch movies online it was frustrating for them that they couldn't!

My husband, my mother and I spent a glorious week in #1302. We found the condo clean, beautifully decorated and very well stocked. There was ample paper supplies, cleaning supplies and even some spices and toiletries. The kitchen had every pot, pan, dish and cooking utensil you could ever need.
From the deck, there are amazing daytime and nighttime views and we enjoyed watching the ships and cruise ships travel the waterway. The beach is across the road, and McDonalds and Walgreens are within walking distance.
The beds were very comfortable and there is ample closet space.
The pool, exercise room, hot tub, game room , and theater are high- end.
I would recommend this unit,. it has everything one would need to have an enjoyable stay in Galveston.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was well-furnished and and kept very clean. It felt like home. The view was great, it was so peaceful sitting on the balcony. We would definitely recommend this condo to others. Side note... My 3 yr old son was so thrilled with the puppy waiting for him on his bed, he carried him around everywhere. The concierge was helpful and the 6th floor amenities were great, we swam and I used fitness center. With the comfort of this condo and the many things to do in Galveston, we were really impressed with how much Galveston has improved as a vacation spot. Ready to come back!
