We are an extremely active family that loves the outdoors!
The Owner purchased this house in 2011
After living in this area for two years in the 90s, we came back for a vacation and fell in love with the beauty and serenity of Gold Canyon. We love to hike in the Superstition Mountains, and the golf here is the best! We love that it is so easy to get to our home from the airport. We look forward to spending some great relaxing times here in the years to come.
The gated community of Peralta Trails is friendly and quiet. It's easy to get to our home from the airport. Once here, we can hike/bike, golf, swim, shop, go to sports events, or just relax. We love being able to walk out our front door and explore the mountain trails. At the same time, we enjoy 'kicking back' and having a barbecue in the back yard, a putting contest, and topping it off with the glow of the fire pit during an Arizona sunset.
AWESOME......Location, the home, and most of all the OWNERS...Sue and Mike. This property was the perfect setting for our family Christmas gathering in Dec. 2012. Spacious..clean..well stocked with bedding, towels, kitchen items , garbage bags, paper towels..the works! Having access to a laundry is wonderful...just a short walk to the community center for work outs was a treat for our adult children as was the outside patio with the fire pit of which they truely enjoyed each evening..and the VIEW is so peaceful and relaxing! THANK YOU for allowing us to stay at your home and for helping us make lasting memories. The LAPIERRE Family
We were very comfortable in this home. It had comfortable beds, room to play games, a well equipped kitchen so we didn't have to eat out. The hiking trails in the area are great, but you can also take nice walks through this desert complex.
The back yard with the gas firepit has a wonderful view and the grill made meal prep very nice, also.
The only minor disappointment was the community swimming pool. It is described as being heated, but that was not my experience. We were there the week before Christmas, so at night it was getting down into the 30's. The pool was not covered at night and so even if it might have been heated, it was not warm enough to even wade in. There were enough other things to do, so not a big loss.
