Enjoy all the best the Poconos has to offer from your own cozy cabin at the The Village at Camelback. The slopes are just 200 yards away. This condo is on the parking lot level so no steps to clamber down in your boots. Its interior has been completely re-done to add luxury, warmth and charm.

There are 3 levels - the main floor is open with living room, dining and kitchen. The upstairs loft has a queen bed, skylight, and bathroom with shower. The lower level has a bunk bedroom with 4 singles, and a full bed room, plus full bath and laundry. The Rec Center's indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, saunas, gym, indoor and outdoor tennis courts are part of the package too.

The beauty is in the details. No squeaks, no creaks, no drafty windows, and a tankless water heater so everybody gets hot baths or showers! The heated floors, the overhead lighting, the ceiling fans, and the custom ski/snowboard rack are unique to this unit. Filtered water, a large refrigerator, ample pantry space and a gas stove will please the cook. The bathrooms are updated with luxury vanities, granite and tile. You'll find very comfortable beds, brand new windows and doors, a large flatscreen TV and an iPod docking station.

In the neighborhood you'll find dinner and artisan beer at the Barley Creek brewery, over 100 designers at the Crossings outlets, and big views at Big Pocono State Park- hike/bike the trails, bird watch, picnic or grill out. And the best part is you can walk to Camelback Mountain Resort for 4 seasons of fun. Winter brings ski/snowboard/snow tubing, summer hosts the waterpark, and spring/fall there's the adventure park with rock climbing, zip lines and bungey jumping. The Pocono Raceway is 10 minutes away and the Mount Airy Casino is also 10 minutes away. If you drive over to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area, you will find stunning waterfalls, whitewater rafting or canoeing, and river beaches - just 30 minutes away.

About The Owner

I live in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in western NC. I love hiking, kayaking, and motorcycle riding. We renovated this condo ourselves and its beauty is in the details. After living in the home for 3 years, we know the area inside and out. Call me your concierge!

Why The Owner chose Tannersville

I grew up in NJ and still have family and friends in the tri-state area. But I love the slower pace and scenic beauty of the mountains.

What makes this condo unique

I love cooking in that kitchen and having people over to enjoy it. I also love walking the loop up at Big Pocono State Park and taking in the views. My favorite evening spot is the Barley Creek brewery - with microbrews and outdoor fun and games. The Stone Bar Inn in Syndersville has excellent food. You can eat in the kitchen with the chef. Every so often I like to see what's at J.Crew and Loft in the Crossings outlets.

The condo is within walking distance of Camelback Mountain Resort. Its about a 5 minute walk with your skis. Village at Camelback offers an Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Saunas, Gym, Indoor and Outdoor Tennis Courts, basketball courts. Renters will have access to all these great amenities. Outlet shopping is 3 miles down the road - over 200 designers. Big Pocono State Park is 1 mile up the road with great views of Delaware Water Gap (road closed in snow). Barley Creek Brewery has great food and atmosphere all year round with outdoor grill and games - 2 miles away. You can visit Mount Airy's Casino in about 10 minutes, or drive over to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area for easy access to stunning waterfalls, white water rafting or canoeing, and river beaches - about 30-45 minutes away depending where you go. The Pocono Raceway is 15 minutes away.

We had a great time staying in the spacious condo. It's close enough to the slopes to walk, had lots of sleeping space, and even had some condiments already there!

Great Ski Vacation!

We had a wonderful ski weekend at the condo! We were two families of 4, with kids from 3 to 8. Although walkable to the slopes, it is one of the farther units from the slopes, and given our kids' ages and inexperience, we chose to drive a few minutes to the base of Camelback. This was also recommended for us by Erin, the owner, who was very helpful and approachable when arranging the rental as well as recommending activities for our young children. Our kids tired out quickly, so the pool was a great amenity to have nearby. The condo was even better than in the pictures, and did not at all feel like a rental, but a home. It was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend the rental to others and would definitely stay there again!

Our family of six, two adults and four young children all under 6, loved our stay. The unit was exactly as pictured and perfect for its proximity to the ski resort and for its comfort and amenities. The owner was great in providing us both a professional and personable experience, very warm, helpful and inviting. I would definitely recommend this property, as well as the resort which was terrific at giving our family a wonderful and rewarding first-time skiing experience.
