We are city dwellers who love new adventures, great food, live music, cool old junk & sunsets wherever we can find them. Happiness is simple pleasures like walking our mutt through glorious Eden Park and listening to the Reds game on the radio.
Staci Willenbrink purchased this condo in 2003
We have an affinity for old buildings. We have lived in our house in Walnut Hills for over 13 years. We bought this property a few blocks away as a 4 unit apartment and rehabbed it ourselves. We really adore this unit. Someday we might sell our place and move into the condo. We believe that our neighborhood has a lot to offer!
Living in Cincinnati allows us to enjoy the best of everything 'big city' but with an affordable price tag. Arts, museums, college & pro sports, festivals, exhibits, concerts and so much more are all just minutes away. We easliy bike, walk, bus & cab to downtown events. Quick access to Kentucky or Indiana broaden our choices for tons of activities. Just down the street a new casino is under construction. The chefs & purveyors at Findlay Market are doing amazing things with local products. The geography of the river valley and surrounding hills is wonderful for hiking, biking, canoeing and photographing. Cincinnati is a city rich in industry, steeped in history, filled with hometown pride. Walnut Hills is perfectly placed to take advantage of it all!
The condo was fantastic. Close to all my relatives and locations I wanted to visit. My granddaughter and I spent one week in this very nice condo. The place was clean and well maintained and the owner was wonderful. If I get back to this area again I would try to rent the condo again.
Owner is EXTREMELY thoughtful and considerate of tenants' needs.
Great location - perfect distance to nearby parks.
Definitely will rent from this property owner in the future!
Three of us stayed here while visiting family over the holidays -- Urban Eden was an oasis of clean, spaciousness and comfort to come home to each night, just 11 minutes from family in the UC hospital area and super close to Mt. Adams, downtown, the (really great) Cincy Art museum and downtown. The kitchen is well equipped with cookwear, dishes for 4 and a little pantry of non-parishables from other guests, the shower was great and the wifi effortless. Staci's visitor's notebook has good recommendations for places to see and eat -- we really enjoyed going to the top of Carew Tower (tallest bldg in Cincy until 2010... still the coolest and the model for the Empire State Bldg). We would stay here again, and rent her other units (above) if we had a big crowd. Need to go back in summer to enjoy Eden Park!
My family and I stayed at the Garden Level Condo in Eden Park and had a wonderful time! The location was perfect. We have never been to Cincinnati before, and were there for a Packer Bengals game. The condo was perfect for what we needed and it was nice to have off-street parking. We really enjoyed the chili that Cincinnati is famous for. Skyline Chili is one example. It was also nice to have a grocery store close enough, and the people at the store and the restaurants were very welcoming, even with our Packer clothes on! We really appreciated everything Staci provided and will stay again if we're in the area again. Thanks!
I recently stayed at this property for 3 nights. I was in the area visiting my daughter at college. We have stayed in hotels in the area previously and we really wanted something more cozy, more space, and to have the ability to cook meals.
Location is awesome. Definitely walk up to Eden Park and go for a stroll. Commute to area University's is easy. Not much to walk to for groceries, restaurants, etc.
Condo rental was a breeze. Responsive owner who seems very organized. Condo was neat, clean, well stocked. Everything we needed was there.
Only issue as stated in other reviews is noise from upstairs. Seemed to be a larger party upstairs on a couple of nights we rented. Very loud with high heels, little kids running around, loud voices, etc. I slept with ear plugs in and was still woken up at 1:30 a.m. when people were coming back from a night out.
I will definitely return despite the noise issue.
My daughter needed knee surgery, so we chose this location knowing that she would be house-bound. The condo was exactly what we needed. Very clean with everything included! The location was perfect since we had another daughter that needed to be entertained as well...so having Eden Park within a few steps couldn't have been better...the trails were also a nice way to get our daughter who had surgery out in her wheelchair. We love the Cincinnati area and was very happy working with the owner of this property. She couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! We will definitely come back in the future.
