Casa Conti di Sotto: It lies at the very heart of the 'Maremma Toscana', just few minutes from what are among the most beautiful beaches of 'Riviera Tirrenica'. It is just 1 km from Gavorrano, a little old village just facing the sea. Few minutes walking will bring you to bars, restaurants, little shops, a pharmacy and a tourist information office. Gavorrano was one of the most important European mining centers of the 19th century, and today it is possible to visit what remains of the old mine. There is also a nice theatre, called 'Teatro delle Rocce' with an interesting schedule of events in the summertime. In 10-20 minutes is then possible to reach the beautiful 'Cala Violina' beach, with its characteristic sand, and Follonica, a nice tourist sea town just in a front of the Isola d'Elba. Follonica is known for its weather, which guarantees beautiful and sunny days and a clear and blue sky.

The sea has been certified as one of the cleaniest of the Mediterranean and is calm and transparent, with big and well equipped beaches. There is also an acquatic park, a horse race course and many, many restaurants and places where to relax and have fun.It is possible to take boats to the isles of 'Arcipelago toscano' (Isola D'Elba, Isola del Giglio, Giannutri,Isola di Montecristo), the boats ship from Puntone di scarlino (10 minutes from Casa Conti di Sotto), From Piombino (30 minutes) and from Castiglione della Pescaia (20 minutes).It is also possible to have one-day fishing and diving cruises. Besides many archeological roman and etrusc sites (Vetulonia, Roselle)as well as middle-age remains (Massa Marittima, scarlino) are easily reachable with few minutes car driving. Spring water sites are also easily reachable: 'Il Calidario','Terme di Saturnia', 'Il Petriolo'. Golf course 'Il Pelagone' is 3 km far away, whereas PuntaAla Golf Club is around 15 km.

Punta Ala is a well known and exclusive beach resort, with a famous harbour with beautiful yachts. The Aurelia roadway is only 3 km far away, which allows to easily reach Pisa (1 hour), Siena( 50 minutes),Florence(1hour and 15 minutes), Rome(2 hours), Perugia (2 hours and 30 minutes), Livorno( 1 hour). 'Parco dell'uccellina' a protected natural reserve, is 35 minutes far away.In 50 minutes is possible to reach AQrgentario and its famous touristic small towns: Porto Ercole, Porto santo stefano, Giannella, Talamone. Throughout the year is then possible to go to 'Sagre' (traditional events in small villages of the region where usually it is possible to have traditional food, wines, and attend spectacles and events)In particular in Gavorrano during the summer time and autumn there are several Sagre where it is possible to taste traditional Maremmano food (tortelli acqua cotta, cinghiale, tagliatelle, gnocchi)
