Enchanting. Warm and cozy. This completely remodeled cottage is perfect for family and friends.
This two bedroom, 1 bathroom house is located on a quiet street only blocks from historic downtown McMinnville. It's also within 15 minutes of over 150 wineries, a few short miles from the Evergreen Aviation Museum (Home of the Spruce Goose) and Waterpark and an hour from Portland in one direction and the Oregon Coast in the other.
French doors off the master bedroom open on to a charming deck and private fenced backyard. When your feet get sore, curl up in front of the 42' HD TV or bring your own favorite DVD.
The bright and airy kitchen is fully outfitted whether you cook for yourself or bring in take-out. There's also a washer and dryer in case you spill your wine.
Yamhill Valley Cottage's location near historic downtown McMinnville filled with tasting rooms, art galleries, renowned restaurants and unique one-of-kind shops makes it the perfect place to stay and play.

Thank you so much for the fabulous little house. The neighborhoods are truly lovely for going on walks and there was a lot to do with our toddler nearby to keep him entertained. You've made this a very cozy and inviting home.
Yamhill Valley Cottage provided a cozy, comfortable 3 night retreat from many nights on the road during a multi-week road trip! It was clean and located in a quiet neighborhood not far from downtown McMinnville (but not walking distance.) We dropped the key down a crack in the front porch deck soon after arriving, and Stephanie arrived quickly with a back-up. McMinnville itself is small and was a bit of a disappointment, so we spent only one day there, a day on the northern Oregon coast, and some time visiting wineries in the area. Overall, a very nice visit.
This was a cozy, comfortable place to stay. It was clean, roomy, and had all the amenities we needed....no extra cost for what is usually wifi with lousy reception. There is a fully-fenced backyard for sunny weather and both front porch and back deck are just one step. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, and there are some great wineries in the surrounding area. Should I return to the town, this would be my first pick!
This spot was just as advertised-- no problems with our visit. The key lock box was tricky but we got it. We had to adjust to only one bathroom-- I guess we are spoiled. The house was clean, beds comfy (and I am very picky about beds) and the living area was pretty and comfortable. The TV worked well to get us the baseball games.Very quite neighborhood. We did feel it was a bit too far to walk to the historic old part of town and crossing Hiway 99 was not to tried except at a stop light a few blocks away. Next visit we will spend more time! Lots of wineries and other things to see in the area and only a bit over an hour to the coast.
What a treat to find this little bit of quiet bit of wine country. My husband and I found cottage to be convenient to many of McMinnville's impressive restaurants and shops. And an easy in and out of town for our valley tours. Very lovely and relaxing after several days in the car!
My husband and I came to the Willamette Valley for our honeymoon, and we wanted to stay in McMinnville to be close to amenities and centrally located. We found this place and were very happy with the location and value. We were so happy when we arrived to find a lovely and quaint cottage where we could kick back and relax (with, of course, some TV and wireless, too)! You can walk to all the restaurants and wine tasting rooms in downtown from this place, and it's not a far drive to the other major wine tasting areas. We really loved having onsite laundry, as well, and the basic staples are daily living are stocked, allowing you to do laundry or clean up after a nice dinner cook-out, etc. The back porch off the master bedroom was an added bonus.
All told, we were very happy with our stay and loved calling the place home for a week! If ever we're back in the area, we know exactly where we'll stay.
My husband and I have stayed at this cottage several times. We have family in the area. The house is cozy, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The owner is very responsive and accomodating. For us, this has become our home away from home, one which we will return to again and again.
