Located within Tulemar, this privately owned 1 Bedroom Villa is perched along the hillside, in a separate section known as Buena Vista. It has ocean and jungle views. Tulemar is beyond expectations

Healing nature, wonderful concierge (Julien), made our time there wonderful. Saw monkeys jumping from tree to tree, sloths, a baby sloth that got separated from his mom, iguanas, crabs, and healing beauty. The sunsets were wonderful, the bungalow was cozy, octagon, part facing jungle, part facing ocean, we had breakfast and lunch at times at ocean side, and the wait staff was wonderful, especially yahida. We were badly in need of time out and away, and Tulemar did the trick. The only part that was confining was that it was difficult to do easy walking there, and we required the shuttle a great deal of the time, but it wasn't a big deal. Julien was wonderful as a concierge and it gave us great comfort to know he was there to call upon. He brought us chocolates one night and brownies another night, and was very personable, warm and friendly, bright and interesting to speak with. Thank you Cindy for suggesting this wonderful property to us.

Tulemar One Bedroom Amazing

My 2 girlfriends and I have just gotten back from Costa Rica, we planned for months and decided to stay in a One Bedroom with a deck and it was the best decision we could of made. From the get go everyone at the bungalows was helpful, kind and informative. From Cindy at booking to David and Brian at the private beach they were all unbelievably sweet and attentive. They answered all our questions and gave us great advice on restaurant options, tour information and nightlife. The grounds are kept beautifully and the views from every angle are spectacular. Watching the sunset every night was a heartwarming experience. Our One Bedroom was gorgeous, clean, comfortable And perfect for 3 people. Had the best breakfast on they're private beach, went kayaking and the pool is amazing, the view from there is magic. try the piña coladas. My favorite. All in all I fell in love with Tulemar, Costa Rica and the beautiful people.
I can't recommend this spot more, if you're looking to experience this beautiful country in its natural setting stay at Tulemar. Thank you guys for making our trip an unforgettable journey.

Costa Rica Heaven

I traveled to Costa Rica with one of my friends last month and we had no idea what part of Costa Rica we should visit. We took a look at Trip Advisor and saw Tulemar had absolutely amazing reviews. After reading all of the reviews, we decided that we wanted to stay there. We rented a Buena Vista One Bedroom. They were amazing and helpful when we had any questions. They booked all of our tours for us and had the packet of information ready for us to give us all of the necessary information for each tour. Julien was our concierge and he was wonderful. The first night we were there, we did the Night Jungle Tour which we didn't realize did not include transportation, so Julien gave us a ride to the place where the tour was located. No questions asked. The property was beautiful and had an amazing small private beach. Everyone that worked at the hotel was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone (as long as you don't mind hiking!) There is shuttle service if you do not feel like walking. I will go back for sure!

Monkeys, sloths, Iguanas and more!

Family of 4 stayed in One bedroom Select and it was like living in a tree house. The very first day, several white faced Capuchin monkeys came for visit. Incredible. I decided then and there to spend as much time as I could on that deck. The villa was perfect for our family. The beach at Tulemar was one of the best we have been to - perfect for children of all ages and so very warm. The food and drink service was great at the beach The pools just as warm as the ocean. And everywhere, wildlife - iguana, sloth, birds... As for our stay, we had a private chef one night - Chef Kris - amazing. Highly recommend. He was friendly and fun AND made a fabulous meal for us. Vanessa helped us prior to our arrival (surfing lessons, chef, groceries) and was so responsive and helpful. Diego and Bill helped us through our week and we couldn't have asked for two more professional, helpful, kind people. Diego even managed to get us a sitter last minute so we could go out to nice romantic meal one night. There was so much to do but at the same time, a great place to relax. We cannot wait to go back.

Great Vacation

Stayed 3 nights in Tulemar. Family of 4 greatly enjoyed staying at the One Bedroom Villa. It had a deck and we enjoyed the sunsets and watching all of the wild life. Beach was great and at times we were the only ones on the beach! Having the kitchen facilities together with a separate bedroom made these accommodations work so well for our family. The kids also enjoyed the different pools. Everything was so convenient. Restaurants and a grocery store was right outside of the gates. The kids enjoyed watching the variety of wildlife. Monkeys, sloths, iguanas and more. It was very hard to leave this place. Thank you Cindy for advising us to rent this wonderful property. We will be back.
