Vacations are all about getting away from our daily lives and relaxing! Calm, quiet and out of the way but close enough for a quick run to town make this Dayton ,Montana location ideal. Inexpensive enough for a week long visit for a family but with all modern conveniences and newly furnished. Watch dish network or watch the movies we have brought up to our 'cabin'. Best of all just relax by sitting on the deck as sail boats go by. A Montana getaway you will forever remember.

After a long, hot drive from Texas, my husband and I were delighted to arrive at this home away from home situated across the street from Lake Flathead in Dayton, Mt. This home is ideally situated between the towns of Polson and Kalispell where one has all the shopping and entertainment you could ask for. The home is situated in a very nice neighborhood where friendly neighbors walk their dogs, jet ski in the beautiful lake and play in the water. Very comfortable, attractive furniture fills this home and makes it very comfortable. A huge stone fireplace as well as a huge TV screen in the den is available for your use. My husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee out on the front deck each morning and many afternoons while watching the various activities on the lake. The kitchen is very well supplied and centrally located in the home. We could not have enjoyed our two week vacation more. We made four trips into Glacier National Park, one trip into Alberta, Canada and caught twelve lake trout on a Lake Flathead guided fishing trip. Thanks go to Mark and Gayle Brintnall for the loan of their well furnished and very comfortable home.

After a busy day of participation in the things we love to do in beautiful Montana, it was so nice to come home, take a shower, brew a cup of Huckleberry Flavor Coffee and curl up in the Great Room to watch the USA compete in the Summer Olympic Games, London, England.

Our group of five adult cousins were very comfortable in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The appointments include fluffy towels and high quality sheets. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is a delightful room for breakfast to plan the day around the big table. We watched the deer cross the meadow, a chipmunk climb the trees, robins starting their day, and heard a chickadee calling. Beautiful.

Home away from home

This clean, spacious, and well equipt lake house was like a home away from home. Our family of nine sat around the large kitchen table and shared the stories of our travels while enjoying meals prepared in well equipt kitchen. Having a washer/dryer available allowed us to pack light making our flights easier.

Our days began sitting on the deck, sipping coffee, and soaking up the sun while taking in the view of the lake. We played croquette and frisbee in the yard and skipped rocks at the lake. Hot showers after a full day of hiking, helicopter rides, museums, and adventure were apreciated.

At night the livingroom was full of laughter and remenisising followed by a good nights sleep on the comfortable beds and bedding proved.

This lakeside house was clean well maintained with all the amenities of home. Five stars. Hope to return

Our family of four adults and four children thoroughly enjoyed our week on Flathead Lake! Some of the extra special treats that proved very useful were the large deck with early morning sun. Just perfect for coffee!! We all could comfortably sit, see the lake, and the kids could play! The spacious double yard was used for running, playing, and games! Another item that our family especially loved was the large kitchen table, sitting all eight of us together!
The house was clean and accurately portrayed in the listing. I would definitely recommend it. It was close to various community swimming areas for our kids to enjoy! Polson and Bigfork were easily reached for a short day trip. The Rack Shack in Lakeside was a fun brunch restaurant we visited twice!
Having satellite TV, two full bathrooms with a tub and shower, plenty of towels, a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a garage all added to our very successful vacation on Flathead Lake!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
