In a nutshell...Everything is NEW and the location is GREAT!

We hope you enjoy our home away from home on Kiawah! Our town house is a terrific family friendly place to call home during your stay on the island. Close to both the beach and the resort pool complex. We do offer access to all resort amenities including the pools! Some of the great things about our townhouse is that it has a private driveway for your vehicle or your bikes and beach stuff. The first floor has a beautiful open floor plan. There is a brand new well appointed kitchen boasting granite counter tops and glass tile back splash that is open to a dining room with a large table for the whole family to gather, and then a spacious living room area that has a deck off the back. The kitchen is both pretty and functional with new appliances and everything you will need to prepare and enjoy meals. We are the Parker Family from New Jersey. We have been coming to Kiawah for years before and after we had our children. We love the island and especially the beach!

Kristin Parker purchased this townhome in 2005

We love Kiawah it is a family friendly island with a terrific beach and a lot to do. We bought this townhome as our second home and have enjoyed it for years we just decided to open it up to vacation rentals this year when we are not there.

Some of the unique benefits about staying at our home include the location... it is super close to the beach, park and Sanctuary hotel. We enjoy morning strolls on the beach to the hotel for coffee. Going to the park to visit the nature center, playground, fitness trail, backetball courts, volleyball courts and all of the other activities at the park. The townhouse is just very pretty, extremely clean and child and family friendly. We have included a book for your use with great tips on what to do and where to do as well as maps phone number etc. We will also be happy to assist you with whatever else you may need such as best places to rent bikes, beach equipment, best places to eat with and without kids. etc. Just ask and we'll do our best to help you out!

FAMILY VACATION

  • 5 of 5
We have lived in SC our entire lives, and we've been to Myrtle Beach, Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, Edisto, and Hilton Head...none of them touch our Kiawah experience! The natural beauty of this place is unspoiled! Perfect for little ones (ours are 3 and 5). We highly recommend the kayak tour at Mingo Point. Shopping at Freshfields was great and provided us with daily treats. My husband and 3 year loved the golf course (my son got his first clubs here). The beach always provided us with hours of fun...the tidal pools gave us new creatures to discover daily. The condo was just as described, a short walk to the beach and Night Heron Park/swimming pool. Bikes are a must for quick travel to other amenities and just a fun thing to do with the kids. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. We had one partial day of rain, but drove into Charleston and had a blast at the aquarium. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!

VERY NICE VILLA

  • 5 of 5
When I book a vacation I research extensively and saw many pictures of Kiawah rentals and this one stood out to me. Others were either affordable but dated looking or beautifully decorated and expensive. This one was both nicely decorated and good price. The pictures represent the villa well. Everything seemed new, the design choices were well thought out and the place was extremely clean. All of the beds were really comfortable and our kids liked the Queen sized bunk bed & the TV in their room. It was really nice having 3 bathrooms. Central location, only a short walk to the Night Heron Park where there are two pools and the beach is very close too. Kiawah is a gated community, with a gate with the gate...to get to the eastern side of the island (where there are gorgeous private homes and vistas) you have to pass through a second security stop and they only let you in if you say you are eating at one of the 3 restaurants out there (the Atlantic Room and Ryder Cup Bar or Cherrywood BBQ). Ryder Cup Bar was a fantastic place to eat. The views are absolutely amazing and the food is good and reasonably priced. We also got pizza at Freshfields Village which was good. Enjoyed walking around there too. The Sanctuary is nice to walk around as well and there are lots of good places on the island to get ice cream for the kids. We went to Red's at the Bohicket Marina one night which we didn't love. Good for sunsets I guess but kind of disappointing. Wish we could've swapped that dinner for the Fat Hen which is supposed to be good.

My son had a broken arm while we were here so we couldn't take advantage of all the outdoor activities which was a shame--if golf, tennis, kayaking, biking or bird-watching are your thing then you will LOVE Kiawah. Charleston is only a short drive from Kiawah and well worth a visit.

This property had just switched over to a Resort Property so we got the Resort amenities. We only took advantage of the pools but it was definitely worth as it would've been too cold for the beach and we didn't realize you had to rent beach chairs or that they wouldn't be provided at the villa. Not a deal-breaker but a little disappointing as we might've brought chairs if we had known. The villa is well stocked with cooking supplies and basic necessities like soap, toilet paper and detergent were provided.

Owner was very helpful too. All in all a great place to stay for a family of 4!

GREAT VILLA!

Villa was extremely clean and well located. Very easy to deal with owner for check in and out. Slightly small living space if you are staying a week or more, but wonderful amenities in the unit. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!

LATE SPRING FAMILY FUN

  • 5 of 5
Our family of five spent a great week at Kiawah, and this villa became our home away from home. The location gave us easy access to the beach, bike trails, and Night Heron Park. We had all the amenities needed to feel comfortable; Kristin has thought of the details to make your vacation easy. The townhouse was very clean and updated, and we liked the "chic beach cottage" decor. With high ceilings, there is spaciousness the photos don't capture. Kristin was very prompt and helpful with all inquiries. We would recommend their Kiawah home to you!

BEAUTIFUL AND SPOTLESS!

  • 5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa in Kiawah. The villa was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I wish I had found a rental like this when my children were small (crawling and toddling). I would have allowed them to explore to their heart's content because this truly was the cleanest rental I have ever experienced. The owner was so helpful in answering my questions and very responsive to my emails. This is definitely a repeat for my family!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

  • 5 of 5
We have 3 young children and this was our first trip to Kiawah. The property was fantastically clean, easy to access and appointed as well as any rental we've ever seen. You'll feel like your on the set of Divine Design with Candace Olson. The countertops/tilework and decor are more beautiful than the pictures show, the owners really outfitted the place well with marble countertops and beautiful cabinetry. The kitchen had every utensil/pot/pan/cup/plate/appliance we needed to prepare meals, even super cute plasticware for kids. There is a stacking washer/dryer at the top of the stairs, which came in very handy, we can only imagine how great it would be for a week long stay in the spring/ summer! We were able to secure our bikes under the condo and easily ride wherever we needed to go, including to the beach.
We rode our bikes down to Freshfields Village and ate lunch at The Station, really good deli sandwiches. There is a grocery store there with everything you need, a great wine selection and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The village had a coffee/dessert shop, bookstore, outdoor store, art gallery, and several specialty stores. It is also equipped with a pharmacy and cafe/soda fountain. Most people drove there, but there is a very nice bike path all the way there.
We ate out at Red's Icehouse at Bohicket Marina and had a bucket of oysters with our meal. The place was loud enough to not worry about our kids making noise (we have a 10mo and 2.5 yo), so that's a good choice. They had lots of fruity concoctions that they sell in pitcher form, so it could be a nice place to go with a group as well.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Kiawah, the condo was the highpoint for us, it was cold and rainy in December when we visited, so we spent some serious time inside. The place was so calming that we never forgot we were at the beach, even though we didn't spend much time on the sand!
