This hillside resort is nestled on the eastern end of beautiful St. Thomas and boasts amazing ocean views and values for your next Caribbean adventure. Point Pleasant Resort has been offering memorable experiences to guests for over 40 years and includes 3 pools, are own small but private beach, a spa, fitness center, all while being conveniently located to the areas multiple water and land-based activities and attractions.
The resort is conveniently located just 3 miles from the restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and the fun and famous Red Hook. The town of Red Hook is also where the ferries for day trips to St. John, Water Island and the chain of British Virgin Islands are located. The resort is less than 2 miles to Coki Beach which is the best snorkeling beach on St. Thomas. Right next door to Coki Beach is the fascinating Coral World Aquarium with Lindquist Beach just 1.5 miles away and breathtaking Magens Bay Beach only 5 miles away.
St. Thomas features many wonderful restaurants within an easy drive or taxi ride. If you prefer Al fresco dining on your terrace overlooking more than a dozen Caribbean islands, rest assured the kitchen is well supplied and grocery stores are nearby. We know you will appreciate the value of having a kitchen versus staying in a hotel room just like we do, but the value doesn’t end there. Our team is also available to help you with any other arrangements you desire including scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing, jet skis, power boat or sailing trips, deep sea charters, zip lining, golf, and restaurant recommendations.
Traveling to St. Thomas is easy. A U.S. Passport is not required unless venturing over to the British Virgin Islands by ferry. Point Pleasant Resort is located only 8 miles from the Cyril E. King Airport.

Owner, Roger Freda, purchased this rental unit 7 years ago because he was seduced by paradise. The views at Point Pleasant are breathtaking. The swaying palm trees on golden beaches and the gentle warm zephers are the antidotes for stress and the trials, and tribulations of work. If you want to
R & R, here is the place. There are nature walks all through the property and if you are not inclined to walk, there are three swimming pools, each with its own distinct ambiance. There you can just lie around, take a leisurely dip or just lie back, read your favorite book or kindle. For the more adventurous, there are two magnificent sailboats that are available for day trips to St. John or to the British Virgin islands. If you are a hands-on type of seal lover, you can go snorkeling at Sugar Bay(next door), or take a brief walk across to Coki beach for even better snorkeling experience. If you want to explore the beautiful beaches on ST. Thomas,
there are plenty to choose from. My personal favorite are Magens Bay, and Lindquist Beach, but there are a plethora of others to enjoy. Use the
Guest information books in our vacation unit to discover fun restaurants, and tiki bars that are spotted throughout the island. Even though I am the owner of E-15, I spent the longest vacation of my life from the end of December 2012, to the end of February 2103 and the time went so fast, that I could not believe I had to return home to New York.
We really enjoyed our time there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our place was clean and well equipped. Beautiful view. WE really loved Beverly and everything she is doing with the spa, and the massage therapist Julia was awesome.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was very clean.
The property manager was very helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
Very relaxing, excellent views, friendly staff
At the end of July (2014) we enjoyed one of the best vacations of our lives, 8 days and nights in unit E-15 at the Point Pleasant resort.
E-15, located near the top of Point Pleasant, is a cozy, clean and updated studio-sized condo with a very comfortable king bed, full kitchen equipped with utensils, plates, glasses and cookware, and a separate seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV and DVD player. There is free wi-fi. The upper swimming pool is a short walk away. And what a view!
Normally I am a late riser, but I was up early every morning to gaze at the vistas. To the side of the wrap-around balcony is the bay, where Jimmy Buffet's new resort Margaritaville is set to open, and across the bay, Coki Beach, famous for its snorkeling. From the front of the balcony, you can see St. John and, in the distance, Tortola and the BVI.
Point Pleasant itself, with units rising steeply from the bay to the top of the hill, is beautifully landscaped and well-maintained, with a courteous and eager-to-please staff. The cab ride from the airport to Point Pleasant is about $15 per person.
At present at Point Pleasant, there is a bar on the bay, Panga, which serves casual food (burgers, tacos, etc.) and superb tropical cocktails.
There is a small beach at the bottom of Point Pleasant where you can snorkel, adjacent to the Sugar Bay resort, which holds a carnival party on Thursday nights.
Only minutes away from Point Pleasant on the East End of the island is the village of Red Hook, which offers the best variety of dining and drinking establishments on St. Thomas. I highly recommend the Italian restaurant Pesce. A mile or so past Red Hook is the Food Center supermarket, which sells steaks, fresh fish and live Caribbean lobster. Also, wine, beer and a wide range of liquors. We saved ourselves quite a bit of money eating breakfast and dinner at the condo.
At Red Hook you catch the half-hour ferry to Cruz Bay on St. John. The ferry leaves on the hour and costs $14 round trip. Also close by is Sapphire Beach, which has good snorkeling and plenty of shade trees. At Sapphire, you can catch a day sail to St. John and various snorkeling spots aboard the 57-foot sailboat Nightwind. For $115 (if paid in cash), you sail from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., make at least two stops, with an open bar all day, fresh fruit and pastries when you board, and a delicious lunch. They take up to 15 passengers, but there were only six of us the day we sailed.
Great location if you are not wanting crowded resort feel. Quiet location with spectacular views. Room is perfect for 2 people. Has everything you need and shower is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Look forward to visiting soon!
Such a perfect location! If you just want to relax or head out for some fun, this is perfect! My husband and I planned this trip for our anniversary and we are already looking at the calendar to do it again! The views were spectacular and we couldn't ask for a nicer setting! Sugar Bay and Coki Bay are so close and Red Hook is not too far! Panga had excellent food and bar service and great staff! Loved our whole time there! Miss it already!
