Welcome to our lake front house, built in 2004, on the sunset side of Canandaigua Lake.

Located on a quiet, private road, this house offers 3 bedrooms and a cosy living room with kitchen and eating area, enough room for one family. Our home, with 50' of pristine Canandaigua Lake Frontage has all the modern conveniences you want, including central air, laundry facilities and is only 5 minutes away from all amenities and all of your shopping needs.

The water depth at the seawall is one foot dropping gradually off to the end of the dock with about five plus feet. It's ideal for kids all ages to swim, snorkel or just sit in the water. The dock comes with an 6000lbs lifting capacity electric boat hoist and a 1200lbs capacity PWC lift with handwheel.

All of our interior is newly furnished. The first floor includes a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with shower. The fully equipped, bright kitchen with its breakfast bar seating four, a cosy living room area and a dining area are overlooking the lake.

The second floor has two bedrooms each with a bunkbed twin over full and a full bathroom with shower. Tucked away in the hallway you can find an office desk with wireless access and phone.

The finished basement with its two pull out sofas, including a TV gives the kids enough playroom space.

Perfect Vacation Spot

This is a fabulous place to stay. We really didn't want to return home. The house is open and airy, affording great views of the lake. it also has all the amenities you'd want, and is really nicely furnished. We loved sitting on the dock, playing in the water with our kids, eating out on the patio and building a fire in the fire pit. We rented a canoe and kayak and were able to access the water fairly easily.

The location is conveniently close to the town of Canandaigua, which was great for dining out and quick trips to the grocery store or downtown Canandaigua.

The owner was very quick to reply to any e-mails we sent. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

The cottage was perfect. It was well decorated (from Pottery Barn & Ethan Allen) and very clean! Our son has several allergies and we are always cautious when traveling to new environments. We were pleasantly surprised and nothing to worry about at this property.

It was far enough away that you can't see Kershaw Park and of the end of the lake, but only a few minutes from stores & entertainment.

The owners were fantastic and had great communication with us via email. We had a small problem with the hoist and they sent someone to look at it promptly.

We look forward to staying here again!

Just stayed at this lovely cottage. Immaculate, plenty of room and stocked with everything you need. Was not concerned about the fact that the owner lives overseas. We chatted via email and local folks are around to help if need be. Will stay here again.

This place was fantastic. We have rented lake property before, but were still blown away by this house. It was immaculately clean, updated, and had all of the appliances, furniture, and utensils you can imagine. The patio was great, and well shaded from the afternoon heat you get on the east side of the lake. The gradual depth of the water was perfect for children young and old.

We shared the concerns about the owners being overseas, but they were quick to respond to emails and provide any details needed. Great place, we will be sure to return in the future!

Beautiful views!

What a wonderful find! We have rented many properties in the past and this was one of the best by far. The house is immaculate, recently updated and roomier than it may appear in the photos. (The lower level is perfect for teenagers or extra guests). The location is perfect - close to shopping, but not busy. A very relaxing place to be. The water and sunsets were lovely and the patio was a perfect space for our group. We were a little nervous initially about the owners being overseas, but they made the rental process easy and had local contacts to call in the event of a problem. We had a great week!
