Townhome, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4)

This charming, single level townhome is ideal for two to four people who enjoy soft surroundings and cozy feelings of home and solitude. A wonderful escape from routine, Carol and I recently redecorated the home to feel like somewhere we would want to be for either a short or extended stay. So we hope you will enjoy your place there and feel like it is where you belong. Take a look from the sky terrace in the afternoon sun and wonder at the changing of the Santa Cruz mountains to the east. Or enjoy a dip in the wonderful community swimming pool a short walk away.

The home features 2 bedrooms, a king master suite and a second bedroom with twin beds, as well as a comfortable living area ideal for reading or watching TV or just staring into the fireplace. The kitchen is set up for easy cook-in convenience should you decide not to venture out to one of the great restaurants nearby.

About The Owner

We live in Bend, OR and travel to the Tubac area during the winter to enjoy the great warmth and the outdoors. We particularly like golf, the arts, culture and fun of the Tubac area. We recently spent a while in our place and became more connected with the southwest environment. As well we really enjoyed meeting a quite diverse group of fellow 'sun-lovers' who were visiting as well.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2011
Why The Owner chose Tubac

Our home offers a getaway opportunity during winter climes and is a great venue that is convenient to a plethora of opportunities for enjoyment. Whether it be a 45 minute drive to Tucson for great shopping, entertainment, the arts or whatever, to Green Valley to the Wednesday arts and crafts festival or to Nogales to experience the border culture (which we highly recommend). Just walk out the front door and you'll meet 'friends'. It is a wonderfully warm and social environment while at the same time offering peace and quiet.

What makes this townhome unique

The arts stores in Tubac vary from pottery to scupts to art and are a lot of fun and the people are fantastic. We particularly enjoy gazing to the stars on perfectly clear desert eves, golf and reading and wondering. Plenty of hiking trails (be watchful) and the mission in Tumacacori is well worth a look.

Tubac is a wonderful arts/crafts community and excellent restaurants/bars with a lot of local ambience. There is the Tubac Resort which offers a 27-hole golf course, spa and restaurant. The community is 20 minutes south of Green Valley that has several other challenging yet affordable golf courses and plenty of shopping. Nogales is 20 minutes south of Tubac and plenty of other shopping options. The entire area is in the heart of the Southwestern culture with excellent exploring opportunities. Tucson is 45 minutes north of Tubac with other choices of arts, culture and golf experiences.

very comfortable and attractive condo!

This condo was very lovely and comfortable. The sky terrace was fun to eat dinner on and relax in the evening.
We loved being able to walk to the pool and also to town. This condo was very quiet and private. I can recommend this condo to friends.

Our stay in this town home was very pleasant. Working with the owner was a positive experience. The pictures listed on VRBO and the properties descriptions were accurate. We would recommend this property to friends and family. Anyone who loves history and a laid back community will love Tubac as we did. Our only comment is that this property is really only comfortable for two adults.

We really enjoyed this property; it's convenient to Tubac's many amenities, very well appointed and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the Juan Bautista de Anza Trail. We recommend Tubac's many merchants, especially Beads of Tubac and Tumacookery, We enjoyed dinner several times at Shelby's Bistro and at Wisdom's Cafe in Tumacacori. May be our best VRBO experience!

My wife and I have vacationed in Tubac many times (great vacation spot) and stayed in several different town homes..your place is the best.. a lovely setting and well appointed. It had everything we needed to fully enjoy our 2 week stay. Great location, close to the activities we enjoy; like, good restaurants, art galleries, affordable golf courses, shopping, entertainment and yes, nice areas to walk our dog with our first cup of coffee in the morning. Excellent accomodations. Very clean and well appointed. Quiet, friendly community. Great views, wonderful pool. Hope to be there same tiime next year. Love Tubac. It has a great golf course. The art in the community is way beyond average. Good restaurants too!
