We often sit on the lanai and just don't want to leave, no matter what we are suppose to do. You can hear and see the ocean waves. You will also see sea turtles, surfers, tropical fish, and the most amazing sunsets ~ and you don't have to leave the condo! You have an ocean view from almost every room, all except the bathrooms. You even have a view from the master bathroom sink which makes us women happy as we have a view while we are getting ready. Everything, and I mean everything, is new in the condo. All new wood cabinets, all new stainless steel appliances, new stainless steel faucets, designer vessel sinks in guest bath and master bath, stone like tile throughout, mosaic Mystic Spa glass inset tile in showers, pillowtop King size bed in Master, two twin pillowtop beds in guest bedroom, original Hawaiian artwork throughout condo, three large, flat screen TV's in living room and both bedrooms. There is a large capacity washer/dryer in the unit, no trips to the laundromat needed. There is a Xbox- 360 with one controller, just bring your favorite games. FREE long distance to mainland USA and Canada and FREE internet access. We provide boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, ice packs for the coolers, beach towels, and sand toys for your outings to all of those beautiful, Big Island beaches. About Candace Remington Spinali

We are the Spinali family from San Diego, California. Michael grew up in San Diego and attended SDSU. Candace grew up in Michigan and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin many, many years ago! We have been married 25 years and have two sons, Michael and Cole. Michael graduated from SDSU in May 0f 2014 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is attending graduate school at SDSU. Cole is a junior in high school. He loves science and history. But more than that, he loves volleyball. If he could, he would play 24/7. We feel so blessed to own properties at Banyan Tree and to be able to share them with families from all over the world.

Why did we purchase this property? That is an easy question to answer ~ THE VIEW! We also own another condo at Banyan Tree, #204 since 2007. It is a very active vacation rental and we found that we couldn't go as often as we would like, so we purchased another condo at Banyan Tree. We love Kona~ the water clarity for snorkeling/scuba diving, the restaurants, the people who live there, the convenient location of Banyan Tree! Someday in the next few years, Michael and Candace hope to reside on The Big Island! It is truly a special place.

What makes this condo unique

Why did we fall in love with our condo? Easy to answer, THE VIEW! Once you see the view, you will understand why. It is breathtaking! From the time you open the front door, you will walk into a brand new condo with one of the best ocean views we have ever seen! We have a 'must have list' ~ the master bedroom has to have an ocean view as well as a king bed (Michael is very tall). We like large, open spaces that allow our family to be together comfortably. The pool has to be oceanfront and have a view. With Banyan #301, you get all that and more.

A Slice of Paradise on the Kona Coast

The description does not do this condo justice. Everything about the unit is top notch. The furnishings are new and beautiful. It truly looks like a model home. The cleaning staff does a superb job, as the unit was spotless after they were finished. This unit is truly "ocean front". Many claim to be, but this one delivers! One of our favorite features was the master bedroom, which is on the ocean side of the unit. Hearing the waves gently crash against the lava rock below lulled us to sleep each and every night.

Candace is a jewel to work with. Every inquiry was answered promptly and courteously. She is on top of everything, from reservation to returning of your security deposit.

Great location, just a few miles south of Kona Town. Great underground parking. A small store across the street suitable for filling the need for a snack or refreshments. You can not go wrong at Banyan Tree #301 and Candace.

Spectacular Beachfront View Kona Condo

We stayed a week in February at this beautiful beachfront condo. We could not wait to wake up and look out from the balcony and to return to our condo in time to see the sunset at the end of the day..no better view in Kona!!! We saw over forty whales, spinner dolphins and lots of surfing. The amenities are all very modern and up to date. The pool is perfect and the hot tub was very clean and enjoyable. We enjoyed the people we met and like the fact is was a smaller condo complex.

It was perfect to just go out the door and take a walk or a jog along Alli Drive and you are very close to all of downtown Kona by a five minute drive! The condo has four ceiling fans which we left running whenever home and it produces a gentle breeze with the windows open. I really recommend this condo for your stay in Kona..you will not be disappointed! The best Poke shack on the island is just a few minute walk away and a convenient grocery mart right across from the condo. Bring your binoculars!!!! We really enjoyed our time together in your beautiful condo!!!

Beautiful Condo!

We stayed in this beautiful condo for a week in October to celebrate our 37th Wedding anniversary. This was our second trip to The Big Island and it is quickly becoming our favorite! Three of our adult children came with us to celebrate and the condo worked out perfectly! It is decorated beautifully, really clean and has a gorgeous view! It was so fun to watch the surfers every morning before we left on an adventure. The grounds of the complex are maintained very well. The parking garage was even clean! The Barbeque grills by the pool are wonderful and we enjoyed grilling steaks and spending time in the hot tub. Candace was wonderful to work with. She responded quickly and was very personable. The location of this condo is great. It is just a few miles from a wonderful Farmer's market that we went to almost daily and the cute little town of Kona with shops and restaurants. When you stay on the Big Island you do drive quite a bit, but we don't mind it and were happy to come back and relax at the Banyan Tree! Some of the things we enjoyed doing on this trip were kayaking and snorkeling at Captain Cook, (we took a boat tour last time we were here, so maybe the hike is next!) snorkeling at Two Step, hiking the Kilauea Iki trail, jumping from the boat hoists at South Point (I didn't do it, but everyone else loved it!) seeing the black and green sands beach, and going to one of my favorite beaches, Kua Bay. We Loved this condo and would definitely rent it again. I hope it is available when we plan our next trip!

I loved how you saw so much of the island, but yet had time to enjoy the lanai and the endless "surfing movie"! The farmers markets are awesome and I now have a schedule in the condo info book on what days the farmers markets are available on the whole island! “Definitely Stay Here!"

You are probably reading this review right now trying to decide, “where should I stay while staying in Kona.” Believe me when I say STAY HERE! Stop looking! If available, reserve your dates! This condo is over the top gorgeous and super clean. I felt like I was staying in a Hawaiian model home. The cabinets, tile, lighting, furniture are all top notch. The VIEW – OMG, it is so hard to describe…it is absolutely phenomenal! Like one of the other review said, “It looks like one long surfing movie. “ I saw turtles, tropical fish and even a pod of dolphins swim by. Needless to say, I loved the view. We forced ourselves every day to leave the lanai. When we went to the beach, no problem as there were beach chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards and coolers, everything you could possibly think of that you would need for a day at the beach, (and the chairs and umbrella were Tommy Bahama). The pool was clean and surprisingly warm. The view from the pool is like a photo taken for a post card. The parking garage is convenient and secure, the internet was great and hands down Candace should be given a gold medal for her kind genuine interest in making sure our vacation was everything we had hoped it would be. Mahalo Candace, our vacation exceeded our expectations! We will be back and will tell all our friends about your gorgeous condo in Kona.

Just as Advertised! Enjoy!

Consistent to prior vacations, my wife and I were looking for something that was of "deluxe oceanfront" for our visit to the Big Island and Banyan Tree fully delivered on our expectations. It is a recently, fully remodeled condo. Almost everything is new. Smells new on entry. The lanai is a very relaxing place to just watch the surfers do there thing in some quality surf (many quite good!) or stare at the tidal pools near the shore for turtles. We really enjoyed and made good use of the umbrella, cooler, and boogie boards in the closet for guest use...clean and a nice touch for those days at the beach! Like some other folks have mentioned, the parking is very easy here. Everything worked the way it should work. If have kids, there is a game system as well I noticed...that is if you ever have the odd desire to turn on the television while here (we only turned the television on the last day for Irish football game while packing). Amazing ocean sounds all night...you are literally on top of the ocean with this condo...building is maybe 30 feet or so to the seawall. Lastly, echo others in re: dealing with the owner, Candace. Spectacular quick follow-up and if we ever would have had an issue while we stayed there, I'm confident Candace would have rectified it in a timely, professional, and FRIENDLY manner. White Sands Beach

Located in a neighborhood south of downtown Kona, the surrounding area is peaceful unless there is a surfing competition! Some of the best surfers are surfing right in front of The Banyan Tree Complex. There is a small convenience store across the street and Da Poke Shack is located in the hotel adjacent to Banyan Tree. The ocean has amazing clarity in Kona and the snorkeling is spectacular. You can snorkel in front of the condo or go to a protected reef/cove if the waves are too large located 1.5 south of the condo. It is the Kahaluu Beach Park and it is a black sand beach with amazing snorkeling.
