I have always enjoyed turn of the century architecture and seeing wonderful structures renovated and brought back to their original grandeur.

You will be within walking distance of wonderful shops, fine restaurants, downtown St. Paul, fitness center, coffee shops, bookstores. Strolling down beautiful Summit Avenue (blocks of lovely Victorian homes) is a lovely way to end the day.

Comfortable and charming duplex in a great neighborhood

We enjoyed our long weekend in this sweet duplex unit. Lois was an excellent and easy-going host. She got back to us immediately when we had questions but otherwise left us to ourselves. The house is within easy walking distance of excellent restaurants, coffee, shops, and a YWCA. The house was very clean and well maintained. Great patio and backyard.

Comfortable, clean and charming

Owner does a great job of providing a home-like, visually interesting, restful place to stay. Sun room very comfortable, large leather couch in living room great to sink in and relax. Everything provided. Owner responsive to requests and interested in making the stay a good one. Kitchen full equipped, queen bed very comfortable, quiet for sleeping. Plan to stay again and recommend to others.

Cozy, yet elegent...

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Cathedral Hill vacation rental. It was wonderfully accommodated with antiques and comfortable furnishings. There were 3 separate places to sit and visit, with the front room, the dining room and the sun room in the back. It snowed all weekend, so the side streets were interesting to navigate. But the apartment was very fun. Thank you, Lois! :-)

I have been reluctant to review this flat. I don't want to give the secret away. We have stayed here at Christmas time when visiting my family in Minneapolis, St. Paul for several years. If too many people find out, they may steal it away from us. We love this place, located perfectly, cozy, well furnished with everything you need and charming. So, feel free to book, but just not for Christmas week.
