About The Owner
My husband Neil, and I were born and still reside on the beautiful tropical eastern coast of Australia. We love our waterfront home on the Sunshine Coast, in particular the beach lifestyle and the ability to step off our private pontoon onto our boat (aptly named Snow White). We’re often to be found living aboard on long weekends. Our other passion, however, is SNOW! We adore it and the benefits that come that follow; namely skiing, and sipping red wine in front of a fireplace. It was second nature to purchase condos in Vail, Colorado and Big White, British Columbia. The next on our list is… Scotland.
We are well travelled and are fortunate to have visited the following places within the last 12 months; Fiji, The Whitsundays, Vail (twice), Big White, Paris, Scotland, London and Singapore. We can't wait to be able to return to Big White again.

Why The Owner chose Big White
We visited Big White for the first time in March of this year. Until then, we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the beauty of Vail, Colorado with it’s picturesque alpine village and fantastic weather; both summer and winter.
We were totally unprepared for what we were about to discover in Big White, and it left smiles "a mile wide" on our faces.
The friendly and inviting atmosphere welcomed us instantly, allowing the ability to unwind from a hectic lifestyle quickly and easily. We couldn’t fault the friendly staff in both Happy Valley and the Village. With a melting pot of visitors from all over the world; the accommodation, facilities and activities offer something for everyone (young and old included). Neil and I dragged ourselves away from the “Snow Ghosts” at the top of the amazing ski slopes (the best experience yet), and enjoyed a five-hour snowmobile adventure that led us through a winter wonderland that was truly breathtaking. It was official; we fell in love with Big White, it’s people, and everything it has to offer.
What makes this condo unique
Neil and I looked through quite a few condos, however, we knew this one was perfect from the moment we saw it. We purchased directly from the developer, and the fact that he hadn’t ever stayed in it, meant everything is still as new. It felt like a home to us, in fact, we could easily see ourselves living here for months on end (one day).
Because the condo is large and spread over two levels, it allows couples, families and groups comfort and space (with plenty of storage), without stepping on each other. The vaulted ceiling over the living and dining rooms is certainly a feature, particularly when you gaze up the stairs to where the master suite and loft are situated. The oversized steam shower is a fantastic bonus.
Sitting in the private hot tub on the deck, sipping champagne and watching the sun set behind the Monashee Mountains is an experience not to be missed. The nightly firework display also appeals to people of all ages.
We love our condo and look forward to sharing it with you soon!
