Walk to the huge variety of Restaurants including the famous Jacques-Imo's Cajun food, or Ninjas sushi, try Lebonese or Indian, sample wine bars, and great breakfast and cafes. Listen to great music at the Maple Leaf Bar and others or go to the various art galleries and meet the artists and its all walkable around the corner at Oak street,. You can catch a street car down to the famous French Quarter and Down Town, where you can never get bored,or take the street car the other way to City Park Museum of Art.
There is a Festival in every month here in New Orleans, Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival, Quarter Festival, Healing Arts and Po Boy Festival to name but a few.

We loved this area with its easy access to everything and we own 2 horses around the corner from this property (so if you are looking for a ride:) as we can take our horses along the bike trail from the house all the way to Audubon Park and Zoo along the Mississippi. Being walkable to all the amenities and fun on Oak Street is a real draw.
