For the more outdoorsy types, Ashe County and neighboring Watauga County offers a variety of activities throughout all seasons including trophy trout fishing, hiking, snow skiing, mountain biking, rafting, tubing and horseback riding. There is so much to explore in and around the West Jefferson area!

The cabin is situated on 3 acres and offers guests 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, gas log fireplace, hot tub, new Smart HD TV's in every room and a washer/dryer. There is an assortment of family games to enjoy, a solo stove on the back deck and a fire pit, both perfect for making smores. Wake up to the soft glow of morning light filtering through the windows, and step onto the deck to savor a cup of coffee while taking in the panoramic views.

Venture outside, and you'll discover a private oasis that truly sets this home apart. A hot tub beckons, inviting you to unwind and soak in the tranquility while surrounded by the natural beauty of the landscape. A carefully crafted fire pit area awaits, perfect for gathering with friends and family under the starlit sky, sharing stories and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Additional Notes:
- Repeat guests returning to this home can receive a 10% discount (not to be stacked with other discounts).
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Firewood for the fire pit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- This home is located off of a moderately steep gravel road that is shaded. AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months (critically important during inclement weather!).
- Bookings cancelled with a 30+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings cancelled between 15-29 days will receive half of their deposit back. Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless your dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
