If you think you will enjoy this view, you'll definitely like this spacious two bedroom, two bath condo. Located in the exclusive Belmont Estate, Ocean View is one of four quiet units, each overlooking the famous Long Bay beach, just a short step away; while Smuggler's Cove and Long Bay Beach Resort, with its restaurants and amenities are both within walking distance. Other popular West End restaurants, bars and beaches are easily reached by car

Entering the living room, you have this outstanding view over Belmont Palm Grove, the Sugar Loaf and the islands of Jost van Dyke set in the brilliant blue of the Atlantic Ocean. The airy and open plan living room is an ideal space for a family or group to view the stunning sunsets and enjoy the sea breezes. These views are repeated in the master bedroom (a/c and queen bed) with en suite full bathroom. The large dining room opens to a shaded patio for al fresco dining amid colourful tropical plantings.

The second bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower only) features its own patio/garden area and has twin beds easily converted to a king bed. The efficient and well equipped kitchen will encourage you to do your own creative Caribbean cooking.

At your doorstep is a lovely freshwater pool(salt system) surrounded by a lush tropical garden overlooking Long Bay. As this is a deep-water adult pool children must be carefully supervised. Note that the only people allowed to use the pool are the other owners (when in residence) and the persons renting Ocean View. Outside guests not permitted.

The on-site manager has lived in Tortola for forty years and is available to deal with any problems and to provide helpful information on the island. Rest assured that she values her privacy as much she respects yours. We hope you will enjoy your stay on our very special island.

My wife and I have never been on Tortorla. The apartment was everything we could of asked for. We made friends as soon as we arrived and found we had picked a place that was ideally situated on the island. There are two beaches to the left and right of the apartment that are easy to access by foot. The pool is a great place to gather in the evening for a drink and some great conversation. This is a great place to unwind. The WI FI was consistent and I was able to stream some great music through my Ipad at the pool. The apartment comes with Boogie the dog who is there when you might be missing your own pet from home. Hi to Gary and Heather who were our hosts. We want to come back. We are back in the rut.

Wonderful apartment

This apartment had it all. The location was amazing, just a short walk up the hill from an excellent beach. And the unit itself was much bigger than we had expected -- with 2 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large dining room, a large living room, a patio and a balcony. The views from the unit were also mesmerizing; we'll never forget looking out at the ocean for sunsets on the balcony, a glass of rose or a bottle of beer in hand. There's also a nice pool that guests can use -- perfect for a quick dip after going to the beach. Heather was a gracious and very accommodating host, too. She is very helpful with restaurant suggestions, so don't miss the Coal Pot, which is just a short drive away. In general, we would recommend that anyone staying here rent a car. We would also recommend that you bring or buy bug spray because there are quite a few mosquitoes.

Belmont Estates, Tortola BVI

Excellent accommodations, unbelievable view, great access to beaches and other sites, and Heather is a most gracious and helpful hostess. The only reason for a 4-Star review rather than a 5-Star review is the mosquitoes. We were there after a particularly rainy period and the mosquitoes were quite hungry, so I recommend bringing bug spray and anti-itch cream. You will need a car to get there and to get around. I did not think to ask, but there is no washer/dryer - so pack accordingly, and enjoy Tortola.

Can't wait to come back!

We fell in love with this villa and the entire area! The location is fabulous - very accessible to beaches up and down the coast, many restaurants, and Sopers Hole Marina which has a lovely grocery store along with charter boats and ferries.

The unit was very clean and well stocked. Floor to ceiling windows provided breathtaking views of sunrise and sunsets. It was nice to know A/C was available but didn't use it as we loved hearing the ocean and feeling the breezes all day and night. The swimming pool was such a treat after a long day at the beach or for a nice cocktail before dinner. The villa was full of beach towels and all kinds of amenities that made life easier. And the mid-week housekeeping was such a plus. Heather, the onsite manager, was always very helpful in providing directions or recommendations, and all with a lovely smile!

We're already planning our next trip to Tortola and lovely property!

Breathtaking Views

Belmont Estates #3 is located on the residential west end of Tortola, overlooking Belmont Hill and Jost Van Dyke. It is a short walk to Belmont Bay Beach and a brief drive or walk (~ 1 mile) to Smuggler’s Cove beach. The unit was spotless and furnished/stocked like a home away from home. It was a delightful place to stay with a full kitchen, great views, A/C in the bedroom and a wonderful pool. It was as nice to stay "home" as it was to go out and explore the island. The Belmont area was very quiet and it was easy to navigate to and from this end of the island. We were in easy walking distance of the Long Bay resort, and close enough to walk to Sebastian’s and the world-famous Bomba Shack (only one steep hill to climb).

The unit was nicely stocked with vacation extras, such as bags, Tupperware, paper towels, dish soap, cooking spices, a cooler and beach towels, so we were always prepared for our daily adventure around the island and the BVI. It was just a few minutes drive to the West End ferry (and grocery and laundry facilities and gas station). We'd return home at the end of the day to relax with a glass of wine on the balcony, enjoying amazing sunsets just like in the picture. In addition, our host Heather was available, accessible and so hospitable, and provided mid-week cleaning services as an added bonus.

Overall, Belmont #3 is a relaxing, comfortable, quiet and memorable place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone.
